The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Ca. See photos below of some of the wins in movies and/or television along with some memorable moments.

“Saturday Night Live” comedian hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler took colorful stabs at director Kathryn Bigelow saying they trust the woman that was married to James Cameron for three years, and to Anne Hathawy by stating they had never seen her so alone than on the stage of the Academy Awards with James Franco. The duo filled-in for nominees who were not in attendance at the show by dressing-up like them and sitting in their seats!

After announcing that she is fifty years old, Jodie Foster gave a touching speech that include her thanking her moving who she implied is ill. She said, somehow if I say “I love you” three times maybe it will sink into you conscious and told her mother that it was okay to let go and not hold on anymore. She also announced that she is single, and had her “coming-out” a thousand years ago, leading to an awkward moment when she thanked her Ex who helped her in her career.

Presenters from SNL Kristen Wiig and Will Farrell nicknames Jennifer Lawrence “J.La” then presented her with her Best Actress Award for “Sliver Linings Playbook”. Lawerence humbling began her speech with a joke stating to the executive producer of the movie, “Thank you to Harvey Weinstein for killing whoever you had to kill, to get me up here!”. Lawerence’s upbeat easy-going attitude, dedication and most appreciative, never taking herself too serious, is one sure to last her a lifetime career in Hollywood.

Actors Jonah Hill and Megan presented for Best Supporting Actor in a movie. Fox questioned Hill jokingly that he isn’t going to call her back? Anne Hathaway took home the award. She thanked the awards for “a heavy, blunt object” which she will use in self-defense and said she was inspired by Sally Field who grew up to be “Norma Rae.”

Director and writer Quentin Tarantino accepted his Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay. He started, “Wow, I wasn’t expecting this!”, surely referring to his controversial slave/Western film “Django Unchained”. He explained one of the secrets to his success as when he reads his script, he hears it through the ears of the audience.

Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger appropriately presented the Golden Award for Best Language Film. Stallone joked that Arnold’s accent was too much , asking him, “really, how long have you been here?” The Foreign Globe went to “Amour”, Austria. The director, Michael Haneke, accepted the award and said he never would have thought he would have received an award in Hollywood from an Austrian – referring to Arnold Schwarzenegger.
