Everything is Possible THE VOICE season 14 Finale Winner Recap

NBC’s “The Voice” season 14 finale night two kicked-out with a powerful performance wth Team Alicia finalist Britton Buchanan performing with past contestanats Wilkes, Christiana Danielle, and Mia Broostrom singing “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins.

“The Voice” viewers were treated this season to first-time coach Kelly Clarkson’s viviacous and bubbley presence on the coaching panel. The show expressed this with a fun skit displaying her charm.

Back next season will be Adam Levine, Blake Shelton as well as Kelly Clarkson and returning coach from season 13, Jennifer Hudson. The finale night continued with performance from Spensha Baker with Kane Brown. Dua Lipa also performed. Then, returning season 13 winner Chloe Kohanski from Team Blake took to the stage to perform her new single.

Chloe performed her new single “Come This Far.” She recorded it in Los Angeles and formed the lyrics to her style she said. The meaning of her song is, “I didn’t come this far to go this far. She called it a fighter anthem,” stated Chloe.

Kohanski stated that she wants to bring rock back to the forefront of the mainstream. She teased that it’s just a taste of what to expect on her new album that she’s working on.

Bryn Cartelli and Julia Michaels perfomed a mix of Michaels hits “Issues” and “Jump.”

Blake Shelton and Jimmy Fallon did a skit together of a mock Blake show called “Dallas Colt P.I.”

Next, Kyla performed soul song George Michaels'”Killer/Papa Was a Rolling Stone” with past ‘Voice contestants Rayshun Lamarr, Sharane Calister, and Johnny Bliss.

The Top 4 each received a Toyota C-HR.

Florence and the Machine performed “Hunger.” The next performance came from Team Alicia finalist Britton Buchanan with Ryan Adams.

Halsey and Big Sean performed “Alone.”

Kelly said she had no idea when she turned for Brynn that she’s only 14 years old. Kelly said she’s Brynn’s biggest cheerleader and that Brynn is stuck with her weather she likes “The Voice” or not.

The next performance was by Country super-star Jason Aldean who has 20 number one songs, and 15 million albums sold. He performed “Drowns the Whiskey.”

“The Voice” Top 4 Team Alicia finalist Kyla Jade performed with ‘Voice coach Jennifer Hudson, whom she also sang back-up for. They sang “I Know Where I’ve Been.”

The show did a skit about ‘Voice coach Alicia Keys being the “ultimate life coach.”

Next, it was the moment of truth. Host Carson Daly brought the Top 4 artists out onto the stage to hear who’d be runner-ups and who would take home “The Voice” season 14 trophy. First, Daly asked each artist what they learned from their coaches this season.

Kyla stated that being with a coach that lets you be yourself. She said it’s an “organic experience.” Spensha thanked Blake for believing in her from day one. She said three years ago, she almost settled for mediore. Brynn thanked Kelly and said Kelly has been an inspiration for her since she was very young. Brynn called working with Kelly “a blessing.” Britton also thanked Alicia for believing in him and his take-away from her is – “your authenticy should never be compromised and you should always believe in yourself.”

Daly then announced the runner-ups one-by-one. The FOURTH PLACE finalist was Spensha Baker, THIRD PLACE finalist was Kyla Jade.

The two remaining artists were Britton Buchanan and Brynn Cartelli.

A few last words from the remaining coaches, Alicia and Kelly were – Kelly said there are no final words, and both Brynn and Britton have delivered. She’s proud of BOTH of them!

Alicia also told both of them that they are both passionate and have grown with each moment. “Everybody sees who you are and there’s nothing that stops you at this point. People love you even more now.” She said there’s a real desire for you both to win and told them to continue to believe that “everything is possible.”
