It’s already the end of another season for NBC’s top-rated talent show “America’s Got Talent”. HOLLYWOOD JUNKET was on the set today for a special performance by a previous winner.
“America’s Got Talent” season 2 winner, ventriloquist Terry Fator returned earlier today to the AGT stage top pre-tape his performance which will be part of the live Tuesday’s show airing September 13th.
Today’s show had Nick Cannon introducing Fator from the audience balcony seating. With stand-in judges backs in the background. Real judges Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel, and Piers Morgan were not present. Wigs were worn by Osbourne and Morgan’s stand-ins!
Fator arrived to a full house and gave one amazing performance. We can see why he won and is still holding his own in his self-named theater “Terry Fator Theater” inside the Mirage hotel in Las Vegas. Fator was joined by an African-American puppet who sang a “soul” song, “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Bill Withers. Fator makes an exceptional impression of a soulful singer with very little lip movement or breathing for that matter! A talent he revealed on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” that he did not know he had until after the age of thirty. Fator also stated to Morgan that after watching successful Las Vegas headliner impressionist Danny Gans who passed away in 2009. During Fator’s season on AGT, Morgan admitted to not realizing his popularity until the very end… and then Fator won!
Host, Nick Cannon asked Fator what advice he could give to the final four contestants on the show. Fator said that by making it to the final four they’re already winners.
Watch Fator’s episode on “America’s Got Talent” on NBC this Tuesday September 13th at 9/8c. The season finale is Wednesday, September 14th at 8/7c. Celebrities to perform include: Tony Bennett, Queen Latifah and Jackie Evancho.
