Carson Daly talks about waiting with contestants’ friends and family, and his baby incident that prepped him for parenthood! “It’s an unusual environment that we invite these talented people to come down here in this lot and four walls and I want them to feel at home. This experience in this room and watching their loved ones sing in front of these coaches. It’s a lot of high highs and a lot of low lows. I’m just screaming “turn your chair Ce Lo. It’s real emotion for me. I had one woman, I won’t say any names, gets so excited she was holding her newborn and she was so excited cheering for her sister, that she just said here Carson, and she handed me the baby. I was actually expecting my baby so I took it as training for a new kid.”
