It’s Good Not To Work For Martha Stewart! BETHENNY Sneak-Peek!

In the talk show world of television these days, studios are doing something that’s called “test runs” of these shows. “The Real” went through it, Kris Jener also experienced it with her talk show called “Kris”. When former cast member of reality shows “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart” and “Real Housewives of New York” Bethenny Frankel did her test run, it was an instant hit! Starting Monday September 9th, Bethenny’s talk show is coming back for a full season run.

In a sneak-preview of “Bethenny”, she said, “The amazing thing that happened doing the six week test is that women were revealing themselves in a way that you don’t see on television.” Some of the preview segments had Bethenny reacted in real-world situations.

Among a slew of many new topics, “Bethenny”, will tackle sleep issues and weight-loss. During the sleep segment, Bethenny brought-one guest Dr. Michael Bruce who advised getting at least eight hours of sleep every night. A common problem that people experience is having trouble falling asleep due to not be able to shut-off all of the noise from daily issues and stresses. His goal was to get rid of this head noise while trying to fall asleep. One good practice that Bethenny demonstrated on a bed on the stage is for people that sleep on their side, is to place a pillow between their legs. This relieves pressure off of the hips.

During Bethenny’s demonstration, she showed her audience how she cuddles in bed with her dog, “Cookie”. During this demo, “Cookie” got detracted by watching herself in the TV monitor off-stage.

Fans of Bethenny know that she likes to communicate with her fans via social networking website, Twitter. In another segment, her guest was Peg Weber a woman she met from Twitter who lost 75 pounds on her own by wearing a pedometer, developing her own exercise regime, and watching her portions. This guest started her own Facebook group with 7,509 members called “Steps to Good Health.” There are members in this group of all ages. Peg had a hysterectomy that put her into a surgical menopause. Peg said that her wake-up call to losing the weight was when she was trying-on clothes and they couldn’t fit. Her Facebook group is a positive one that helps it’s members to lose weight.

Bringing about her own positiveness to her fans and the viewers that watch her show, Bethenny said that she doesn’t feel like she’s changing people’s lives, that they are changing their own lives. She just talks of her own experiences, and people get motivated by listening to her. When looking at the success timeline of Bethenny, much similarity can be found to her own inspiration – Martha Stewart’s own successes.

Bethenny comes from a background that is similar to that of Martha Stewart’s. They both started-out cooking in their homes then franchised from there. Martha turned it into a catering business. Bethenny, a former natural foods chef, got a job cooking on the television show “Rescue Me”. Soon, she wrote her own book, Naturally Thin: Unleash Your Skinny Girl and Free Yourself from a Lifetime of Dieting. Martha’s book – Entertaining. Stewart soon signed on with Kmart as it’s lifestyle expert and spokesperson. Bethenny built her brand by staring in reality show “Housewives of New York” then launching her own drink “Skinny Girl Margarita”. Stewart launched her own magazine, “Martha Stewart Living” and television daytime talk show. Now, there’s “Bethenny” talk show.

When she competed on “The Apprentice Martha Stewart” it was revealed that she knew one of Stewart’s advisers, Charles Coppleman whose daughter was friends with Bethenny some sixteen years prior to the reality show. Did he or Stewart for that matter possibly influence some of her multi-media decisions that has lead to her success? We may never know.

While on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart”, a young thirty-four Bethenny at the time stated, “I look at Martha, I look at her life and I look at what she’s done. Martha’s such an inspiration for all the things I know that I want and can do.” Bethenny finished in the reality competition in 2005 during the first and only season it aired as second runner-up.

Currently at the start of her own talk show which is bound to be a success, Bethenny addressed her divorce by saying, “I have a lot of negative things going on in my life. It’s really important to embrace this and enjoy this.”
