Actor David Lyons who plays Tierney, says he was blown away by how well Hough and Duhamel work together. Hallstrom says they “were very generous with themselves” and that he really “adores them.”
The beautiful Southern town depicted in the novel was the real town that “Safe Haven” was filmed in. Hough says that the movie is really about second chances.
One question was asked about Hough’s real-life romantic acts – Hough says she likes to leave notes in boyfriend Ryan Seacrest’s briefcase or next to the sink when he wakes-up.
