After Tuesday’s Results show, only four artists will move-on. Some break-through performances came from Chris Blue, Brennley Brown, and Vanessa Ferguson who wore a dress for the first time on “The Voice” stage. A notable performance came from Team Blake’s Aliyah Moulden whom Blake called a “model ‘Voice contestant.” Read more to find out why.

Sang “With or Without You” by U2. Host Carson Daly said the overwhelming response (cheering from the audience) is “rare”. Blake said it was by far Hunter’s best vocal yet and he doesn’t sound like anyone else. Alicia said she felt like she was at his concert and he has the uncanny ability of bringing them into his world. Adam said it was the most straight-forward production he’s done. Give it “the Hunter treatment. Adam also added that it was a classic take on that song and was “super refreshing.” Coach Gwen said Hunter can not only produce, write and collaborate, he shows off his vocal. “Just doing the song was enough to change it, yet familiar enough…you were incredible tonight” Gwen stated.

Vanessa and Chris Blue sang Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You”.

TSOUL (Team Blake)

It was TSoul’s first time singing a female song with Aretha Franklin’s “Ain’t No Way”. Alicia said he has a showmanship where he always puts something more into it – like he just begged after that woman [in the song]. Blake said he was so proud. “TSoul told me that he had this vision and dream of making it in music” and said if he could just get on “The Voice”. Blake congratulated TSoul for getting into the Semi-Finals.

BRENNLEY BROWN (Team Gwen)

Brennley sang “Suds in the Bucket” by Sara Evans. Blake said it felt like they were watching a 15 year and that’s what she needed to remind people of. Gwen said because he’s so gifted and strong, sometimes she forgets Brennley is 15. To do a song uptempo like that and tackle it like that takes a lot of confidence.

Aliyah Moulden & Hunter Plake sang “Let it Go”

LAUREN DUSKI (Team Blake)

Lauren sang “Ghost in this House” by Shenandoah. Blake said Lauren has a strong presence that could sell-out concerts. He predicted she’ll be in the finale.
Adam said it seems that grace and simplicity in such a beautiful way is going out of style. He loves it more than the belting-out tunes singers. Blake said there’s a hand full of songs that real Country music fans consider “untouchable” But what Lauren just did was “monumental”. Basically Blake is depending on Country fans to hit it home for Lauren.

Jesse Larson and TSoul sang Stevie Wonder’s “I Wish”

CHRIS BLUE (Team Alicia)

Chris sang “Take Me to the King”. Alicia predicted Chris would sing the song in a way that would be really emotional. Chris said to make it to the finals, he’ll have to open up and be emotional with the song. After his stellar performance, coach Alicia stood up and told him, I knew you could do it, and let your walls down represent everything that you’ve gone through in your life.
“You just got out of your way and let the source go through you.

Tuesday night’s “The Voice” Results Show had the last Instant Save vote of the season. Four contestants were eliminated from the Top 8, leaving four that are headed to “The Voice” finale.

Each coach spoke about their remaining artists. Blake stated that he was proud that his team stayed intact and his artists have stayed true to themselves. Alicia spoke about her artists Chris Blue and Vanessa Ferguson that they both had break-out performances on Monday’s live show. She said they are “so pure, genuine and authentic.” She added that America can see “the real them.”

Gwen said she wants her artists Brennley Brown and Hunter Plake to remember not to get caught-up in the prize at the end. “There’s really no end. It’s about the journey,” she said. Adam agreed with Gwen. “This show is all about how it prepares you after. Win or lose, it’s if you have the right mentality for later,” said Adam.

Host Carson Daly revealed that all the performances from Monday’s show hit the top 100 on iTunes. Team Alicia’s Chris Blue shared advice that his mother gave him – “If you’re just honest with people, you don’t rob them to continue to grow.” Lauren Duski from Team Blake thanked the people of her hometown for their support.

In no particular order. The first finalist announced was: Chris Blue (Team Alicia).

Lauren Duski (Team Blake), with the #1 song on iTunes, was the next artist to move on.

TSoul said he’s dedicated 10 years to music and getting in the Top 4 would validate those 10 years. Why was Adam the perfect coach for Jesse Larson? Jesse answered it’s their bond that they’re both musician’s first.

The third artist moving into “The Voice” finale was 15-year-old Aliyah Moulden (Team Blake).

That meant TSoul (Team Blake) and Vanessa Ferguson (Team Alicia) went home.

Brennley Brown sang Demi Lovato’s “Warrior”. Gwen said Brennley is incredibly talented and is lucky she got to work with her. Gwen urged America to vote.

Hunter Plake sang “Love Runs Out” by OneRepublic. Gwen stood up and said Hunter is ready. Who doesn’t want to buy that song? She told him “the vocal capability you have is mind-blowing.”

Jesse Larson sang “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton. Adam said Jesse is a guitar player who decided to sing. “He just gave it a shot!” Adam said it’s staggering that people spend their whole lives singing, and Jesse spent a short amount of time singing. He would be the only one-chair-turn to make it to the finale. Adam said to vote for “pure and sincerity” would be Jesse.

After the commercial break, the voting polls revealed Brennley Brown had 22% of the votes, Hunter Plake had 31%, and Jesse Larson was in the lead with 48%.

Brennley thanked Gwen for encouraging her to be herself and grateful to be able to sing from her heart each week. Hunter told Gwen that she taught him to open-up and not be ashamed of who he is. Jesse thanked Adam for everything. “Your belief in me has given me a whole new outlook for myself.” Jesse added that it’s turned him into a different person.

Gwen told both of her artists that she’s had so much fun. “Hunter’s heart is so big” and she loved getting to know him. Gwen said she learned a lot from Brennley who is incredible and a sweet-heart. Adam said of all three of them, he’s gone after, and it makes it bitter sweet. He said he believes in all three of them. The biggest lesson to be learned is that it’s the beginning, not the ending.

THE INSTANT SAVE WINNER:

Jesse Larson from Team Adam was the Instant Save winner. Gwen lost both of her artists.
