MINUTE TO WIN IT: NFL Players Kick-Off 60-Second Games!
“Minute to Win It”, hosted by Guy Fieri, will be airing two NFL themed episodes leading into the “NFL Opening Kickoff” this year Thursday September 9th. One “Minute to Win It” NFL episode on Tuesday, Sept.7th and another one Wednesday, Sept. 8th both at 8-9pm ET on NBC.
NFL athletes to play in the “Minute to Win It” 60-second circle include New Orleans Saints Pierre Thomas and Robert Meachem and Minnesota Vikings Anthony Herrera, Visanthe Shiancoe and Bernard Barrien.

Thomas and Shiancoe will team up together to win money for their charities. Bernard Barrien will play with cheerleader Amber Wright from the San Francisco 49ers cheerleading squad “Gold Rush”. Meachem and Herrera team up to play challenging “Minute to Win It” stunts. ‘
With the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina upon us, “Minute to Win It” is doing their part by featuring contestants who are attempting to raise money for the New Orleans area in this episode. Charities directly related are: Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Orleans, New Orleans and National Kidney Foundation, United Way for Greater New Orleans Area. Other charities include, Indian Nations Football Conference and The Childrens’ Hospital, Inc.

MINUTE TO WIN IT: Beauties In The Sixty-Second Circle!
NBC’s physical challenge show “Minute to Win It” hosted by chef Guy Fieri, will feature “ten of the most beautiful women in the world”, former Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageants titleholders airing Monday, August 23rd before this year’s Miss Universe pageant which will be hosted by Bret Michaels and Natalie Morales.
HOLLYWOOD JUNKET reporter was on the set during this episode’s filming. Episode title “Last Beauty Standing” has the ten beauties competing against each other for the one million prize for their favorite charities. Ten stunts are played with the one contestant who completes all stunts is the one who is left at the end to play for the million dollars. Each contestant finishing each stunt in last place is eliminated.

The first game challenge given to the ladies is “Hanky Panky” where they must use only one hand to empty tissues completely from a tissue box. Other challenges include: “Face the Cookie” where the girls have to move cookies from their forehead to their mouth without using their hands, and lastly, the million dollar stunt is “Super Coin” which requires the last contestant standing to bounce and land one quarter coin off of a table and into a 5-gallon water jug while standing fifteen feet away from it.
The former beauty queens came from New York, Panama, Japan, Puerto Rico, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Watch Monday’s “Minute to Win It” episode Monday night at 8/7 c on NBC.
