THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE: NBC Announces The 14 Celebs!

When Executive Producer, Mark Burnett (Survivor, The Apprentice) premiered a new concept two seasons ago for “The Apprentice”, by replacing up-and-coming moguls, and business folk with successful celebrities, giving birth to “The Celebrity Apprentice”, in my opinion, there was no longer much of a point in going back to the non-celebrity ‘Apprentice.

Thank goodness I was right. Because, since then, NBC has given viewers high celeb-drama in high-stakes charity games that I look forward to year after year. Today, the network has announced season three of “The Celebrity Apprentice” famous competitors that will be battling it out in Donald Trump’s boardroom in an attempt to raise the most funds for their favorite charities.

The celebrities are: Darryl Strawberry (former New York Yankees baseball player), Cyndi Lauper (pop icon) Bret Michaels (“Rock of Love”), Sharon Osbourne (“America’s Got Talent” judge), Michael Johnson (gold medalist Olympian sprinter; “world’s fastest man”), Holly Robinson Peete (“21 Jump Street), Goldberg (professional wrestler), Carol Leifer (stand-up comedian), Sinbad (stand-up comedian and actor), Summer Sanders (sports broadcaster & gold medalist Olympian swimmer), Rod Blagojevich (former Illinois governor), Maria Kanellis (pro-wrestler and model), Curtis Stone (Australian celebrity chef), and Selita Ebanks (Victoria’s Secret model).

Rod Blagojevich to compete on this season of "The Celebrity Apprentice".
The most surprising addition is former Illinois governor, Rod Blagojevich who was prevented from competing on another celebrity competition show, “I’m a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here!”. His wife, Patty competed in his place.

This season will again include the Trump children, Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr. as support and co-judges to their father.

THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE premiers on NBC Sunday, March 14 (9-11pm ET/PT).
