Cee Lo Talks About What He Looks For In An Artist:
A lot more often I’m looking for a certainty of self and I’m looking for someone to be mindful enough and present enough in their own life and career and aspirations to know exactly what they want. It’s part of it to sell it. But, Adam’s very good at that. I kinda like, I want the one that wants me. And you can see the similarities and likeness in these different parents. My group of people kind of resemble me. You see what I’m saying. When it makes sense, it doesn’t need to be overstated. Sometimes something out of the ordinary something extraordinary will happen in an artist or in a performance and everybody’s going to turn around. Then you have to sell a little harder. This show offers…the most affectionate part it offers is that creative control for an artist. That’s why an artist would want to pick and chose what coach they’d want to represent them and that’s cool to me.”
