“Dancing with the Stars All Star” contestants did not have to face elimination tonight due to the Presidential Election; next week two of the couples will take their final bow. This week was filled with contestants tearing off their shirts to reveal their abs, exotic dance moves and one fan favorite turning Cinderella into a stripper.

MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY, KIRSTIE ALLEY (ABC/ADAM TAYLOR)

Kirstie Alley and her partner, Makim Chmerkovsky disappointed Carrie Ann when they danced the Samba-Quickstep; she told Kirstie “In the second part of the dance you lost yourself, right before the skirt came up there was a dip and you sort of missed it. I felt like you fell out of sync”. Len Goodman said “I thought it was an admirable effort so well done to you”. Bruno Tonioli told the twosome, “Anything you do is entertaining, only you would turn Cinderella into a stripper”. The dance began with Kirstie Alley dusting a knight portraying Cinderella; her partner, Makin was sitting in a chair as the “prince”. She than bowed down and pulled him up from seat, they danced the Quickstep. They made the dance quite entertaining. The Samba is not that interesting to watch however Kirstie brought her personality to it; she livened it up and added a taste of comedy. Kirstie is an excellent sport; she took Carrie Ann’s criticism well and was even chuckling during the judge’s comments. She has fun on this show and that is what entertainment is all about. The couple received a score of twenty-four.

APOLO ANTON OHNO, KARINA SMIRNOFF (ABC/ADAM TAYLOR)

Apollo Anton Ohno and his partner, Karina Smirnoff were like lightening as they danced the Cha Cha and Pasodoble. Len Goodman said, “You came out and really attacked this”. During the dance, Apollo ripped off his shirt; he excited the ladies in the audience. Bruno Tonioli said “Apollo plenty of muscle power, you should be in the next Twilight”. The couple has great chemistry, you can tell they understand one another and by the way Apollo moves sometimes it is hard to tell who the professional dancer is. The dance began with Apollo dipping Karina and then escalated to an abundance of twists and turns. The couple received a score of twenty-seven.

CHERYL BURKE, EMMITT SMITH.(ABC/ADAM TAYLOR)

Emmitt Smith and his partner, Cheryl Burke danced a combination of the Rumba/Samba. The couple rocked their costumes; they both wore bright pink sparkling costumes. They almost resembled a 1970’s vibe. They were right on cue with one another. Bruno said, “that was a smooth and balanced blending of the Rumba/Samba.” Carrie Ann said, “I liked it but I feel like you were missing some upper body action, like you were going back and forth in your head thinking about the two different steps.” The dance was indeed smooth and when Carrie Ann said that comment, audience members booed her! The couple earned a score of twenty-seven and a half.

MELISSA RYCROFT, TONY DOVOLANI (ABC/ADAM TAYLO

Melissa Rycroft and her partner, Tony Dovolani danced the Cha Cha/Tango to Ke$ha’s latest song, “Die Young.” Bruno said, “During the transition, I thought Beyonce came out here.” The two dances were combined so naturally, nothing looked forced. The dance was crisp, the costumes were sexy but classy and I loved how Melissa took off part of her black costume to reveal the white underneath. Carrie Ann said,”Melissa, tonight you are a star, I loved the transition from the super sexy dominating woman in to the cha cha!” Len Goodman said, “I thought it was beautiful all the way through.” The couple earned a total score of twenty-nine.

PETA MURGATROYD, GILLES MARINI (ABC/ADAM TAYLOR)

Giles Marini and his partner, Peta Murgatroyd danced the Tango/Samba. Giles donned a white suit while Peta wore a nude colored, fringe dress. The dance was elegant, sexy and entertaining; at one point they looked they gave each other a kiss however it was just an illusion. They just put their faces close enough so that their lips almost touched. “You gave us a fantastic Tango/Samba, well done.” Said Len Goodman. Bruno also agreed, he commented saying, “YES! That is how we do it. The South American way, sultry, tense, exciting and erotic.” The couple earned a total score of twenty-nine and a half. It has been an exciting week of Dancing With The Stars, next week we will say goodbye to two couples.
