SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: MOBBED With Napoleon and Tabitha!

Updated with correction: September 20, 2010

It’s been long hours and hard work for a crew of 200 dancers on the set of a new Howie Mandel (“America’s Got Talent” judge) dance show called MOBBED. Choreographers are, “So You Think You Can Dance” (SYTYCD) real-life husband and wife team, Napolean & Tabitha, who choreograph the flash mob-like atmosphere on the outside set.

Far right, Napolean and Tabitha on SYTYCD.

MOBBED is reported to be another Mandel hidden-camera adventure. Mandel serves as the executive producer of the show as well as show announcer. His last hidden-camera show was called “Howie Do It” which ran on NBC for one season.

Some of the familiar faces in the ensemble for MOBBED spotted so far, includes Lauren Gottlieb from Season Three of SYTYCD (Not Lauren Froderman as previously reported), and Martha Nichols from SYTYCD Season 2.

Production began filming yesterday, September 9th, and will continue the 11th and 12th in Glendale at outdoor mall “The Americana”. Dancers will be performing in front of the movie theater there both nights beginning around 7pm. According to reports, MOBBED is being filmed to air on FOX.

We’ll have more information about this show as we get updates!
