Last week’s episode of “Deal or No Deal Island’ left off with the only two players left in the game who are Lete and David. After Lete revealed her three cases, it was David’s turn. His first two cases were opened. Then it was down to David’s very last case, given to him by Phillip, that determined if he or Lete would move on to play the Banker.
David’s total needed to be higher than Lete’s case total of $5.5 million. His cases were revealed to hold $1.8 million, 1.9 million, and Phillip’s case of $2 million, totaling $5.7 million. Thus, moving David on to play the Banker for the grand prize!
Had Lete gotten La Shell’s high case, her and David would have tied. Lete was visibly upset and of course, not thrilled about the outcome. She said she played her hardest.
Wait, There’s More!
Host Joe Manganiello got a call from the Banker telling him that she’s adding the highest case value from the last Excursion into the final case amount, making the grand prize now more than $12 million. David said it was his social game that guaranteed him the win, and his relationships were authentic.

DEAL OR NO DEAL:
Once at Temple to play his game of “Deal or No Deal,” David entered where he was welcomed by all (except Sydnee) of the past contestants from this season. The Banker was then revealed as Chrissy Teigen. A “Spoiler” that was released early by the show all over social media days before this episode aired.
Chrissy said she, like David, made some power moves to get there. She was known as “Christine” case model number 12 on the original game show “Deal or No Deal.” She was part of the game and now she is the game. Chrissy sat on her Banker’s throne as David played a full game of “Deal or No Deal” with all 26 cases. The highest case amount is $12, 232,001.
An Obvious ‘No Deal’!

David took case number 18 for his case because it’s a special number to him, representing his family. In the first round, David had to open six cases. His first offer from the Banker was $230,000. It was an obvious “no deal” from David.
The next offer was $499,000. It was another “no deal” from David. The next round required him to open only four cases. David asked for the help from his “family” starting with Dickson, who favored case numbers 10 for Anya, and 13 for Leyla. David picked 10 which was $500, and 13 was $50. Chrissy was frustrated. Then, Parvati threw out her birthday which garnered him a case holding $500,000.
The Banker, Chrissy’s next offer was $994,000. However, David still had a lot of high number left, including the highest case. The next round required him to open three cases. David said “no deal” and moved on to the next round. Right away, the first two cases he opened were millions. He finished the round out with a case amount of $1,000.
More Than Survivor!
Chrissy asked David how much he won on “Australian Survivor.” It was $500,000. She said she wants to get rid of him and offered David more than three times the amount which was $1,523,000. With that number, it would make him the biggest winner in “Deal or No Deal” history Joe pointed out to him. Then, Joe also reminded him that he could have the $12 million amount in his case, and that would make him “the biggest winner in all of TV history.” Players Lete and Dickson told David to take that offer.
David chose “no deal.” He had to open only two cases in the next round. The two cases were $1 million each. Not great for the Banker. She called him “a worthy opponent.” $1,980,000 was her next offer. At this point, David risked the offer significantly going down should he continue to the next round. Everyone was telling him to take the money But, David had other thoughts, and said “what’s meant for me is meant for me.” and said “no deal.”
In round six, David had two cases to open. The first one was $100, and the second case was the last $1 million. He still had the highest case in play. Chrissy didn’t like that at all. She told him to “take this offer and walk out of her.” It was $2,900,000. But, David had just one more case to open in the next round. If he took out the highest case, that would decrease his next offer significantly.
The Most Money in DEAL ISLAND History!
David couldn’t leave $8 million on the table and continued in the game. Even Dr. Will was jared! David went into round seven, only having to open one case! The cases left were $75, $25, $750, and $12 million. The case opened had the amount of $750. The Banker’s next offer was $3, 870, 018. It was the biggest offer given on the Island and in “Deal or No Deal” history.
David was set on his lucky numbers. But, there was a problem on the board which was number 24. Everyone again was telling him to “take the deal.” David went with his gut and said “no deal.” He moved into the final round. The board was $25, $75, and $12,232, 001. That case was opened and was holding $25!
Waiting For a Sign!
This time around Chrissy said this is by far the highest offer in “Deal or No Deal” history. That offer was $5,800,000, and the Banker’s very last offer that David would get. If he turned it down, David would open his case, risking an amount of either $75 or the $12 million. David reacted that he was “looking for a sign.” Joe said he definitely sees a sign and it says $5.8 million dollars!
Joe reminded David that if he took the $5,800,000 he would truly be the Golden God, or pocketing $75 would make him the biggest loser in TV history. Also, taking the $5.8 million will make him the biggest winner in network TV history. David took the deal. Parvati, Lete and CK were the first to give him hugs of congratulations.
The Moment of Truth:
Did David make a good deal or a bad deal? His case revealed an amount of $75. Chrissy congratulated David. Now, who will be the Banker next season? Can’t wait to see.
