“Deal or No Deal Island” season 2, episode 11, picked-up where it left off where David Genat was about to choose who would be playing the Banker. Right after he sent Phillip Solomon home. No surprise, I think viewers could figure out that he ended up choosing Parvati to play against the Banker.
Parvati, believing that the island has been on her side, felt very lucky in playing the Banker. David chose her to play because Parvati was feeling so confident about it and she wouldn’t be a sitting duck for another player to take out. While watching on, CK said because Parvati is the “ultimate competitor,” it’s best for her game if Parvati “makes a bad deal.”

Parvati chose case number 5 for her case in her “Deal or No Deal” game against the Banker. Her opening offer was a bad one of $150,000. It was a “no deal” and she proceeded to the second round. It was another “no deal” from Parvati to the Banker’s offer of $925,000. Then, it was time for the final round. She opened another large case of $2,500,000. And, then $1,500,000. It came down to either $100 or $1 million that could be in her case!
The One Dollar Curse!
The Banker called with a reminder of Luke’s $1 game that she included in her final offer to Parvati, $500,001. This should have been a sign to NOT put that $1 back into the final case amount. But….she did! And it bit her in the butt. Because Parvati ended-up making a Bad Deal when she opened her case to reveal it had the $1 million.
Parvati exited the game and she told everyone that it was an honor playing and wished everyone the best. Her final words to David were “you better win.” Parvati promised “I will be back for blood” in her confessional interview.
Back at the camp, David was in a lousy mood because all of his alliance members were now gone. His focus was to override both CK and Lete to win the “Deal or No Deal Island” season jackpot which as of this episode is up to $10,232,001 million.
The competitors talked about their plans for the money. Lete’s goal is to use it to gain financial stability in her life and to avoid moving back in with her parents; CK wants to use the prize to help start a family; and for David, it’s another paycheck to help support his family.
THE FINAL EXCURSION:
When Skills & Alliances Mix!
Host Joe Manganiello explained how the final timed Excursion would go down. The players had to cross over three different bridges while relying on the help of their former competitors. Each bridge (that had to be built) is attached to a platform where the Top 3 final players had to choose the highest case out of three cases. For this task, they had to determine to trust or not trust the former player telling them which case to take.
Joe said if they’ve “burned any bridges” in this game, they may have trouble building them here. CK looked the most worried. Hmmm. I wonder why?? The player with the slowest time, would be eliminated right away. The last two players would have to have a highest combined case amount in order to move on to play the Banker for the final case.

LETE WENT FIRST:
The order in which the players complete this Excursion were based on a drawing of numbers. CK pulled number 2, Lete went first, and David was last, or third. Lete’s first platform had Phillip and Parvati. Lete said Phillip has been her number one the whole time and knows he’ll “screw” the other players. With Parvati, however, she had to convince her to help. Lete noted that she took one of Parvati’s moves when she sent Dickson home. Perhaps this flattery was enough to motivate Parvati to help Lete.
While building that bridge with Parvati, Lete reminded Phillip that he has the opportunity to really help her out in this final game by ruining others chances. Lete’s next platform was with Dr. Will and La Shell.
Lete was confident that Phillip would give both CK and David the low cases. For the bridge portion, Lete and Dr. Will had to throw a “monkey knot” rope in order for Lete to pull herself across to the next platform. This platform had Dickson and Seychelle.
The bad news for Lete is that Dickson was in charge of the cases. He told her where the high case was and where the low case was. It was up to her on if she believed him or not. Dickson gave her a wink to really break her confidence. Overall, Lete chose to believe Dickson. Seychelle gladly helped Lete with her final bridge challenge with no hesitation.
CK’S TURN:
It was really bad for CK who got Dickson and Seychelle for her first pairing to “help” her. This was NOT good! CK sent Seychelle home and she was still upset about it for sure. Seychelle told CK that she liked how she played. But, asked CK to get on her “knee” and to groval. Which CK did do. But, Seychelle took her time on “helping” CK by not helping her carry any of the planks for the bridge. Instead, she used back problems as her excuse.
CK then had to face Phillip and Parvati next. Phillip asked her if she’s going to trust that he treated her better than she treated him. CK didn’t trust Phillip and picked a different case, after Phillip told her where the high case was. Before that, Phillip predicted that she wouldn’t take the high case when he told her to. Parvati was not any help on throwing the ball to attach to draw the bridge. Not because she didn’t want to, but she literally isn’t a skilled thrower.
The last platform was where Dr. Will and La Shell were. La Shell hinted on the good case. Dr. Will reminded CK of how crappy it was when she cheated. Dr. Will told her he was declining to assist her with the bridge. But, then after watching her struggle to get the final bridge to come down, he ended up helping her anyway.
DAVID’S UNEXPECTED REVEAL:

David’s first platform had Dr. Will and La Shell. La Shell told David which case NOT to take. After he chose his case, she replied to him “what’s for you is for you.” Dr. Will suggested to David that he wasn’t helping him unless he revealed his true identity. David reacted that he wanted to save it for the final Temple. Then told Dr. Will that he is the winner of “Australian Survivor.” After almost entirely completing David’s bridge, Dr. Will did get back at David by tossing the last piece into the water for David to dive in to retrieve.
His next platform had Dickson and Seychelle. David knew that the two could hear his reveal at the previous platform and also told Seychelle and Dickson about who he really is. Dickson was not upset about it and told him he still thinks of him as a father. Seychelle teased David about how she could have been a great member of “the family.”
The last platform was with Phillip and Parvati. Phillip asked David why he sent him home. David answered it was because he told him he would eliminate Parvati. The extremely bad news for David is that Phillip is handling briefcases!
KARMA IS A —–!
Phillip gave David the same riddle that he gave CK – “Do you trust that I have been better to you than you have to me?” David picked up the case that Philip “chose” for him! Oh, no!! David really should have asked Phillip which case was the highest one!
David told Parvati that he couldn’t have gotten through this game by himself and his game is her game. She agreed to help David out in getting over the last bridge. All three players came back out to see the results from this final Excursion.
THE RESULTS:

The one with the slowest time was CK with a time of 13 minutes and twenty-seven seconds. She was immediately disqualified from continuing in the game. David’s time was the fastest with 7 minutes and twenty-nine seconds. Lete finished with nine minutes twenty-five seconds. The opening of the cases was next, revealing which player would have the highest values.
Lete got Dickson and Phillip’s high value cases, and La Shell’s middle value case. Her total case values came to $5.5 million. David got both Dickson’s and La Shell’s high value cases. It all rested upon what Phillip’s case amount would be. AND….that’s where the cliffhanger ended this episode.
But, if you’ve been following the show, we can deduct that David chose Phillip’s either low or mid value case. Really hoping that Philip came through this one last time for Lete! To be continued to next week!
