January 25, 2025Dr. Will Leaves His Mark on DEAL OR NO DEAL ISLAND Season 2 Episode 3 Recap!
In last week’s episode of “Deal or No Deal Island” season 2, had former “Survivor” winner Parvati Shallow navigate the island by suggesting to “Deal or No Deal” game players La Shell and CK to send Rock home instead of Sydnee who served as a “shield” for the group. They didn’t listen btw. Before that, Parvati and Philip decided they wanted to risk “changing the game forever” by picking up the Banker’s Bonus case during the Excursion. This brought a former “Big Brother” winner to the island, named Dr. Will.
He Came in Like a Wrecking Ball!
This week’s episode of “Deal or No Deal Island” opened with the group of players returning to their tents on the island after leaving the Temple. Parvati called Dr. Will’s arrival as him coming in “like a wrecking ball.” Most of the players had no clue who Dr. Will is. But, they picked up quickly. CK noted how “narcissist” he is after he interrupted the group by telling them all about himself.
During Dr. Will’s attempt to give advice to the players, he pointed to Parvati. Then said, “Parvati, you’ve been on Survivor!”… Ooops! The players who didn’t know yet, KNEW at that moment about Parvati! And, Philip said it best, her spirit left her body and shed a tear in that moment!
The next day, Maria Grace proceeded to educate David Genat all about “Survivor” not knowing that David played and won on “Survivor” Australia. In his confessional interview, David said “I’m in deep, deep, deep undercover.” Dr. Will stated that it was his intent to take the heat off of himself by “outing” Parvati for being on “Survivor.”

THE EXCURSION:
Clever, Confident, and Influential!
The contestants had to chase down 12 cases buried in the beach inside sand castles. The highest case was $4 million. They were grouped into two groups shackled together bound by one rope and a lock that permitted them to get the key, one player at a time. After that, they had to run through a jungle path in pursuit of the cases. The Banker’s Bonu was in play again in this Excursion. This case would “influence the game in an unmarked way,” stated Joe.
Pairing-Up:
Philip was set on getting the Banker’s Bonus again. Dr. Will decided to “throw” this challenge to appear as a “non-physical” threat. Once the players retrieved their cases, they had to set them down on one half of a double stand either occupied by a pair, or empty. Philip and Parvati became a duo again.

Lete, who had the highest value case of $4 million, wanted to stay far away from Dr. Will, and chose to go to an empty stand. The player who arrived next was Rock, with not such a high value case. Lete invited Rock to come pair with her. He was happy for her kindness. David decided to pair himself with Dr. Will. The last coupling was La Shell and Seychell.
Splitting-Up:
Philip revealed his Banker’s Bonus case as a “Split.” That meant that he had the power to split up a pair, leaving them with only their one case as their total. Philip and Parvati both got safety at the Temple. Also, the couple with the highest case value also got safety. Everyone else was up for elimination at the Temple.
In the Bottom:
Seychelle and La Shell were in the bottom along with Rock after Philip and Parvati selected to split him away from Lete. Pavarti felt really bad about putting Rock in the bottom as the after effect of that split. Rock expressed how he’d rather play The Banker over being a sitting duck like he was last week.

After word got out that Rock would be playing the Banker, everyone rushed over one-by-one to have conversations of game play with Rock. The same question everyone had for Rock was, who was he going to send home? But, he wasn’t telling because he said he didn’t trust anyone there.
DEAL OR NO DEAL:
At the Temple, CK was very open about revealing her intentions of sending Dr. Will home as she addressed all of the players. Nothing subtle here. Dr. Will, of course, now knows to go after CK. So, maybe not the best move for CK.
Rock played the Banker. He was choosing case numbers connected to his family members. This proved not to be such great game play. The problem was that they were ALL very high numbers! Every case number was over $1 million in this game. The last case in his last round wiped out one of only two highest case numbers left. The Banker’s offer was $250,00.
SPOILER!

Rock should have NOT taken the Deal, but he did, and had the $1,340,000 case! Thus, sending him home. The final case is now up to $531,001.
NEXT WEEK! A “showmance is a brewing! When Dr. Will finds out that Storm and Maria Grace have been secretly seeing each other, he sets out to break it up! He teases to watch what happens at Temple! “Deal or No Deal Island” season 2 airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm PT on NBC. It streams on Peacock the next day.
