Last week’s episode of “Deal or No Deal Island” season 2 was a major precursor to this week’s episode six.  A tight alliance between Parvati and Phillip was shaken-up after they paired-up once again for an Excursion.  They discovered that they were both dishonest to each other.

Then, a major shocker came later that night when Dr. Will played the Banker, won, and proceeded to eliminate Maria-Grace, a.k.a “M.G.”  This was especially rough on her best friend David whom she helped get immunity.  She let him pull the higher case.

This week things are still brewing between Parvati and Phillip, as well as Dr. Will and David.  How things turn out by the end of this episode is another major shocker! Two players decide to expose everyone’s game play at Temple.

“Deal or No Deal Island” season 2, episode six opened with the players who formulated the plan of dismantling “the family.”   They were patting themselves on the back for the successful elimination of Maria-Grace.  David went in for Dr. Will the next morning and openly told him that he’s coming for him.  Dr. Will’s reaction was to distract David by asking him if he won “Survivor Australia.”

The Tides Are Turning!

Not blowing his cover, David laughed and asked “is there an Australian Survivor?”  Dr. Will said he didn’t know.  But, does he???   In the meantime, David’s ‘Deal Island “wife” Parvati was trying to patch things up with Phillip after Dr. Will addressed her as “the queen of dishonesty.”  Phillip was not phased by it UNTIL…Parvati decided to use his childhood trauma to build fuel against Dr. Will.  Let’s just say, it didn’t work.  Because that literally made Phillip turn on Parvati.

Lete and CK have become a tight alliance which was on full display in this episode. Their new alliance was soon tested in the Excursion.

THE EXCURSION:

This is a Lot!

In this Excursion, the players had to deal with heights again!  A few of them were not cool with that.  They had to choose one platform to pull a ring representing various monetary amounts then doing so, jump into the water.  The highest platform held four of the highest money amount cases that got players “safety.”  The lower one, the lowest, and the mid monetary cases were in the medium height platform.

The players literally had the chance to put someone of their choice into the bottom.  This was possible by pulling  a low case amount.  OR, getting someone safety by pulling a high case amount.  There was another catch… in the two “mid value” cases, one offers Safety, and one is a “Banker’s Bust.”  The “Banker’s Bust” means that the player is at risk of facing the Banker and of elimination.

Changing Alliances!

The contestants were at the mercy of a random raffle drawing of names that picked what order they went in.  CK was all in with having Lete pull a high value case for her.  However,  her strategy was dependent on the order of the drawing.  The first name was Phillip’s.  Phillip based his decision on paying Lete back for safety.  He pulled a ring for a high case for her, getting her safety.  Lete felt she needed to do the same for him.

But, CK didn’t see it that way and saw it as Lete breaking her alliance with her.  When CK’s name was drawn to pull a ring for a case, she went for Dickson.  CK thought Dickson was an easy target after he eliminated Storm.  So, she pulled a low case, putting him in the bottom.  Dickson was livid because he had Saved CK by not eliminating her after his “Deal or No Deal” game.  Dickson returned the favor when it was his turn to pull a ring for a case for someone.  He pulled a low amount case just for CK!  Thus, she joined him in the bottom.

CK Gets Caught Cheating!

When CK pulled a name, she tried to look at whose name she was drawing and tried to pull Lete.  However, everyone saw that she was cheating and called her out.  She had to pull again and this time pulled Dr. Will who decided to jump for Seychell for a high amount.  In his confessional, Dr. Will said he purposely missed his shot because he’s trying to put himself into the bottom in order to play the Banker again.  It didn’t work because Parvati was on to him.  She jumped for Dr. Will to ensure his Safety so that he could not take out another family member!

When Lete jumped for a high value case for David, CK lost it in her confessional interview.  It was just last week when the two were conspiring to take “the family” out.  Now, Lete was ensuring for one of them (David) to be safe.  This led to a complete meltdown from CK later when they all got back to their tents.

Once everyone’s cases were revealed, Lete had the highest amount and power of choosing who’ll play the Banker for the second week in a row.  La Shell pulled the “Banker’s Bust” case which meant she was at risk of going home or playing the Banker.

DEAL OR NO DEAL:

This is a Doozy!

Before the group of contestants headed to the Temple for a game of “Deal or No Deal,” CK had a total melt-down.  CK spilled about everyone’s strategy and game play to Parvati (and Dickson who’s a bystander) while inside the tent.  CK told her that “if they call you ‘the family’ they want you out!”

It was a big mistake for Lete to let CK convince her to choose her to play the Banker.  As soon as CK went up to begin her game of “Deal or No Deal” against the Banker, she revealed ALL!  She exposed how Phillip, Lete, Dr. Will and Seychell went to her with the scheme to target Maria-Grace to get her out of the game.  CK’s stunt got Phillip seeing red and his anger quickly re-directed from Parvati to CK, though he was trying to remain quiet for now.

After CK started her game, a clip of David was shown in his confessional saying he thinks that Dr. Will is the one that formulated the plan to get Maria-Grace out.  Oh, no..what he doesn’t know is that it was actually Seychelle.  She’s also flying under the radar right now!

Going Underground!

By the time CK reached the last round of the game, she had already opened the two biggest cases and was left with $2 million, and $250.  The Banker’s offer was $925,000.  Before deciding to make a Deal or No Deal with the Banker, CK asked Phillip why he was being so quiet. She then egged his emotions on by asking if it was because David Saved him earlier after Phillip was the one who took out his best friend Maria-Grace (M.G.).

That set Phillip off!  Because he called-out CK for making a “deal” to keep her in the game, that got Maria-Grace eliminated!  The episode ended after Phillip told her that he’s not one of those people to go “high” after they go “low.”  He goes underground. So underground that “Harriet Tubman will have to call you in the middle of the night to tell you to run!!”  To be continued next week!

“Deal or No Deal” airs every Tuesday at 9 pm PT on NBC.  It’s available to stream on Peacock the next day.
