Last week’s episode of “Destination X” left Tai in a sticky situation with her co-contestants after fibbing about meeting “Love Island” former cast member JaNa Craig. After she stuck to her guns, the rest of the players had some serious doubts.
The guys were not’ buying it that Tai didn’t meet JaNa at the end of last week’s challenge. This was a major red flag that made her seem very untrustworthy. Rick, who’s burned bridges with all current contestants, was hopeful of making an alliance with new contestant Peter Weber from “The Bachelor.” When Peter tried to find out any tips on navigating the game from Biggy, he shut him down, responding that if they knew, they wouldn’t tell him.
The bond between JaNa and Peter was solid and they agreed to work together throughout the game. The next stop on the bus was a famous fishing lake. One, that the players would not see in their next challenge because they remained “blindfolded,” or VR sets on.
THE FIRST CHALLENGE:
Sky High!
Tai, Ally and Mack got to sit inside of a restaurant to describe Gnarly food dishes to the rest of the contestants seated at a table high above this lake. Host Jeffery Dean Morgan told them that the only people who would actually get to see the view, thus giving away the location, would be the two winners of the challenge.

The contestants were paired up in groups of two for a total of three teams. They had one minute to eat and describe what they were eating. The kicker was that these dishes were disgusting AND, they would have to completely eat two dishes each!
In the first round, JaNa and Shayne described their food to Ally who was back at the restaurant. Peter and Kim were teamed-up and had to relay back to Kim about what they were eating. The last team was Biggy and Rick who fed their food information to Tai. One of the very nasty dishes consisted of a cow’s stomach!

The final round was worth double. To score the points, the blindfolded team had to finish their plates. JaNa and Kim weren’t able to do this and lost it for their teams. Tai’s team Biggy and Rick did finish their plates, and won this challenge. That also meant that this was Tai’s third win in a row. However, interesting enough, that didn’t save her from the Map Room.
All Clues Lead To …
That also means that Biggy and Rick were the ones to see the view and the flag of where they are at, The Netherlands. Once back on the bus, Biggy and Rick were not on board with sharing the accurate clues with Tai because they were still indifferent from her denial of meeting JaNa, and decided to test her. Biggy and Rick had Tai promise to keep the clue just between the three of them.
Tai decided to build trust with Peter and shared the clue with him. After that, viewers got a peek into Rick’s backstory of how he and his wife had opened a restaurant a year before Covid. They ended up homeless due to selling their house for the restaurant. So, Rick’s goal is to win the money on the show so he and his wife can buy a house again.
Peter went to Rick to suggest that he and JaNa all be in an alliance. Then, Peter spills the beans to Rick on what Tai told him. Immediately, Rick was upset because this showed that he can’t trust Tai. Rick told Peter about the false flag they gave Tai, and assured Peter that they are NOT in Germany, but in fact in the Netherlands.

THE NEXT CHALLENGE:
Crying Over Broken Vases!
The group found themselves in a “desert.” Not exactly, they were on a sand beach. More clues were propped-up for the contestants. Jeffery announced that they were standing in the largest sand dune in Europe.
This challenge had the players smashing the vases of the players they trust the least. Ally went for JaNa’s vase first. JaNa chose Kim, then Kim chose Peter. That meant it was Peter’s turn who chose Mack. Mack chose Tai’s vase due to Tai lying about not meeting JaNa last week. Tai chose Rick’s vase.
This was shady!
Rick decided to go for Shayne due to his physical threat (is what he said). But really it was the fact that Shayne is a “puppet master” with too many minions. Shayne had to choose between Ally and Biggy. Hmmm……Bros before…well, you know how that goes.
Shayne in fact did choose to smash Ally’s vase instead of his bro Biggy! JaNa was the most shocked by this! That left Biggy as the most trusted player (the irony of this comes at the end of the episode).
Of Course, There’s a Nasty Twist!
Biggy was the only one saved from the map room this week. He also won a ticket to being the very first player to enter Jeffery’s V.I.P room. This is where Biggy got the clue of exactly where they are, Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands.
The twist is that Biggy needed to get one player to drop their “X” in the wrong country on the map. Otherwise, if EVERYONE guesses the Netherlands, Biggy goes home! Of course Biggy freaked-out at first, then quickly accepted it. He told Shayne about this twist. Biggy was thinking it has to be Tai since she leaked that clue to Peter.
The trick was to get Tai to believe the lie. While Peter and JaNa were talking about the plan and putting their “X’s” on Amsterdam, Kim was snug in her bed behind them and heard everything. She then told Ally. So, those two knew where to put their “X’s”
Trust No One!
Mack figured it out by the Van Gogh style painting that she saw in the last challenge. Tai said she was tossing-and-turning in bed the night before going into the map room. She wasn’t sure if to trust Biggy and Rick’s clues. When Jeffery revealed the results, it turned out, Tai went with what Biggy told her and put her “X’ in Brussels.
Before Tai exited the bus, she was peeved and told Ally how disappointed she was in her. Biggy explained how he had to get one player to place their X in the wrong location in order to keep himself in the game. Everyone was shocked by this! Perhaps this was a mistake on Biggy’s part because now he’s the one who looks very untrustworthy!
WHERE THE X ARE THEY IN EPISODE 4:
Amsterdam, Netherlands.
