The all important week on “The Bachelorette,” The Fantasy Suites occurred in Hawaii.  This episode included many side conversations between Jenn and past contestant winner Molly Mesnick, and the guys confided in host Jesse Palmer during this time of struggle for most!

Marcus was struggling to get his feelings of Jenn in alignment with hers.  Devin was struggling with his own feelings of love for Jenn that weren’t being validated.  Jonathon wasn’t doing too much struggling, he was just existing and taking all of Hawaii in!

Jenn told Molly that she feels strongly about the men left who are – Devin, Jonathon, and Marcus.  She said she knows that one of them will be her husband.  Molly told Jenn that she noticed that Jonathon really looked at Jenn and thinks he has strong feelings for her.

Molly hoped that Jonathon would relax and let his guard down during the overnight date.  When Jenn got to Devin, she told Molly that he did tell her that he’s in love with her!  Molly was shocked.  However, Jenn said she’s not there yet with Devin.

Jenn said she was having an “internal challenge” in regards to Devin.  “Is it too good to be true?” she doubted. What’s interesting is that past Bachelorette Rachel Lindsey said the same thing about Bryan!  That he was “too good to be true.”  Molly hoped that Jenn would get a “clear path” on who to choose. 

Jenn’s Not There with Devin!

Jenn and Devin spent time on the beach after their ride in a helicopter.  Devin said he wants a family life.  Jenn said it’s scary to “lean into these feelings” for Devin.  Devin repeated telling Jenn that he loves her and she makes him comfortable in his own skin.  Jenn was still hesitant on feeling those feelings for Devin.

Jenn explained that she’s never had something like this before, and it’s hard for her to accept good things.  She said she knows it’s not a healthy way to think. 

Devin said he feels “so strongly” for Jenn that he couldn’t go another day without telling her.  Devin was all set on getting engaged to Jenn and calling her his wife.   Devin accepted the overnight date card to spend time in the Fantasy Suite.

The next morning, Jenn said in her confessional that people say that Devin looks like Pet Davidson, but after last night, “he’s better than Pete Davidson in every way.”  After saying goodbye to Jenn, Devin said he told Jenn that he loves her again last night, and there’s no more love he can give without hearing it said back. 

Jonathon Wants to Get Deeper!

Jonathon isn’t a sweets person, but he decided to have a cheat day when their date started at a donut food truck.  Jonathon’s intention on this date was to open up more to Jenn, who said she was feeling more like a romance with him as they made-out next to a waterfall.

Jenn recounted how much she loved meeting Jonathon’s family.  He told Jenn that his family loved her and she was super confident.  Jenn said she wasn’t always the most confident because she felt that people were always judging her as a kid.  She just wanted to fit-in and be like everyone else. 

After the Fantasy Suite, Jonathon said he could see himself proposing.

In the meantime, Devin was feeling uneasy because he was not feeling like Jenn’s “number one” guy.  He said he’s giving away pieces that he can’t get back and just the thought of Jenn telling someone else that she loves them is “killing him inside.”

Marcus Has A Lot to Figure Out…
Marcus Says He’s Avoiding Love!

Before his date with Jenn, Marcus said he wasn’t to the point of being in love yet, and there was no reason why he should be there.  He told Jesse Palmer that it would be wrong for him to get down on one knee now.  Marcus’ goal was to get Jenn to show him what she sees in him. 

Jesse told Marcus that he’s been through so much and deserves to be happy.  Marcus said “when you’re most afraid, that’s the time to lean in.” 

Before Jenn met up with Marcus, she said in her interview that she’s in love with Marcus.  While they spent time on a boat, Jenn told Marcus that her feelings for him grew after meeting his family.  Their date was a night date because Jenn and Marcus had to wait for it to get dark to go snorkeling with the glowing sting rays.

Jenn noted that she was glad to be on this date with Marcus because “there’s a certain depth” to their relationship.

At dinner, Marcus said getting engaged is something that he only wants to do once, and the most important thing to him is being present as a husband and as a father. Dinner was way worse than Jenn expected because this is when Marcus told her that he’s not in love with her.  

The timing wasn’t good because Jenn was getting ready to tell Marcus that she IS in love with him.  She told him anyway because she felt it was a “disservice” by not telling him. Things between the two of them were super sad.  Marcus even cried.

Although he wasn’t there yet with Jenn, he wanted to stay and try.  Marcus and Jenn accepted the Fantasy Suite together.  Marcus wants to get to the point where he feels as certain about her as she feels about him. 

The next morning Marcus said the Fantasy Suite did help with his feelings for Jenn and he couldn’t wait to see her at the Rose Ceremony.

Devin Was Still Struggling…

Devin was wrestling with his thoughts and feelings of not getting reciprocation from Jenn.  A call was made for Jesse to go talk things out with Devin.  He was not feeling love and not feeling like “the one.”  Devin said,   “I feel one of…”  Devin seemed to be at odds with leaving the show.  Jesse told him “you just have to hang on” for someone that you want to fight for every day.

NEXT WEEK:  Jenn will introduce the two remaining men to her family.  Her brother tells her not to wait for someone to have feelings for her.  Ahh, Marcus!
