Vintage game show, “Pyramid” is scheduled to shoot a pilot show later this month for CBS potentially to replace daytime soap opera “As The World Turns”. Also known as “$10,000 Pyramid”, “25,000 Pyramid” and the “$100,000 Pyramid”, the show was originally hosted by Dick Clark, then returned a number of times over the years. The most recent version aired from 2002-2004 and was hosted by Donny Osmond.

The word-based game show is returning with Conan O’Brien sidekick, Andy Richter as the show’s host. A “craigslist.org” posting stated that the show is currently casting “young, energetic players” who are “awesome at word based games (like Catch-Phrase”). Two contestants are paired with one celebrity each. Contestants must answer a series of words of phrases based on the descriptions given to them by their game partners.
