Mass crowds of fans and tourists flooded Hollywood Blvd. to greet and ogle over the stars of “The Avengers” as they stepped-out onto the red carpet in front of the El Capitan movie theater in Hollywood at the movie’s world premiere.

The arriving stars in attendance were Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and the co-creator of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee. During the red carpet event, fans were surprised by the entrance of vehicles coming down then off of the red carpet and then onto the streets of Hollywood.
