With Dr. Will finally gone off of “Deal or No Deal Island” after David’s successful game of “Deal or No Deal” last week and sending him home, the only reality show stars left now are Parvati Shallow, and David himself. David is still keeping his identity under wraps.
Phillip and Parvati were still in a feud, but Parvati wasn’t sure why. Phillip took Parvati in private to tell her how “low” and “gross” her comment was when she described Dr. Will as one of those people who bullied him in high school. Because Phillip chose to lay this on her right before the Excursion was happening, she took it as a “highly emotional manipulative” move.
THE EXCURSION:

Host Joe Manganiello met the contestants at the Bankers Hiking Trail where they had to compete as a group in this week’s Excursion. They collected cases of increasing values along the way, and had to cut loose the “biggest liabilities” at each increment. They had 45 minutes to finish the trail in order to gain a $2.5 million value case. For total safety, they must get one of two highest case values on the trail and the player holding the highest case value gets immunity.
At the first stop along the trail, they had to dump two contestants, who ended up being Lete and Dickson. The gang was tired of Lete having three weeks of consecutive power, so the vote to leave Lete was unanimous, along with Dickson.
At the next point on the trail when it was time to ditch another two players, Parvati and the gang voted for Phillip and CK to leave. That left La Shell, David and Parvati to continue on with the rest of the trail. In her confessional interview, CK said she realizes how strong David and Parvati are because “no one threw their name out there.” CK and Phillip joined Lete and Dickson back at the starting point of the trail with host Joe.
Joe Drops Some News:
Joe told the rejected contestants from the trail that he had a “proposition” for them that would give three of them Safety. This would leave only one of them “at risk” instead of all four of them being at risk of facing the Banker. Three of them had to agree on which one would be at risk. That also puts the next player to join them automatically also at risk of facing the Banker.
Lete led the group in voting for Dickson. He was NOT thrilled with this because he did not want to face the Banker again. Dickson said in his confessional that his trust in Lete, came crashing down when she did that.
Back on the trail, David, Parvati and La Shell came to their last stop, and it was a height obstacle that demanded them to hang over a gorge with a raging river below. In her confessional, La Shell said she trusts David, but not Parvati. Of course, what La Shell didn’t know is that her fate was already sealed in being up to face the Banker once she rejoined the rest of the contestants!
Parvati and David just nearly made their way back from the trail in time to collect the $2.5 million. Parvati and David brought back the highest and second highest cases that gave them Safety. Then, the bad news was announced, that La Shell and Dickson were both at risk of facing the Banker. It was Parvati, with the highest briefcase amount, who would have to choose which one of these two players would play “Deal or NO Deal” against the Banker.
“Father & Son” Emotional Moment:
Dickson prepared in case he would have to play the Banker and lose by saying his last words to his “dad” on the island, David Genat. Dickson said to David that he wished he had someone like him as a dad and that he’s everything that he wanted in a dad and never got. David got way emotional about this since he recently lost his father. When Parvati learned of this, it made her decision on sending Dickson off to the Banker even tougher.
DEAL OR NO DEAL:

Ultimately, Parvati went back on her word with La Shell in keeping her safe, and sent her up to play the Banker instead of Dickson. Though Dickson was happy not to be playing the Banker, Parvati being torn really set off red flags with him and made him question her trustworthiness. La Shell’s first case she opened was not good at $2.25 million. But, she still got a good offer of $240,000 from the Banker. It was a “no deal” from La Shell.
By round three, the Banker offered La Shell $1, 558, 000. With two higher figures on the board, and one really low one, a penny, La Shell took the Deal when CK told her she cared more about her Safety than the money.
She’s Glad to Be Out!
La Shell should have played another round in the game because her case total was $1.75 million! CK was visibly (and audibly) upset. In her final confessional, La Shell commented that as for the players left, “there’s a lot of knives out. It’s going to be probably a bit more of a vicious game than I want to be a part of.”
The total final case value is up to $9,182,000. The final six contestants are: Phillip, CK, Dickson, Lete, David and Parvati.
“Deal or No Deal Island” airs on Tuesdays at 9 – 10 pm ET on NBC, and streams on Peacock the next day.
