After last week’s elimination which had Bianca guessing Shane incorrectly as being related to Forest Whitaker, it was back to square one for everyone in the house on “Claim to Fame” this week.

Gracie Lou Has Naomi’s Clue:

Gracie Lou was still trying to decode the rest of Naomi’s clue that she pulled last week.  She understood it to be “the brat pack” as the first part, and “the breakfast club” as the second part.  She also got the tiara clue in the picture which stood for “princess.”  

Gracie Lou still had not gotten help from any fellow housemates to solve the clue.  Though she was on the correct path thinking it was Molly Ringwald.

The funny thing is that Gracie Lou said her celebrity relative could have starred in a movie with Naomi’s celebrity relative!!  Viewers saw at the end of the episode, she is indeed correct.

Adam Makes Alliances:

In the meantime, Adam was working on strategizing his “Claim to Fame” game.  He chose Hud as his partner in the game because they connected right away.  The two of them got Naomi in on their clique.  But, no one else knows about this.

These three players promised to pull each other’s clues and share only with themselves.  The agreement was to get everyone else out first before getting each other.
Naomi said as  soon as she finds out if someone is going after her, then that’s the person she’s going to take out.

THE WATER CHALLENGE:
A Spelling Bee with a Twist!

The group had to break into two teams and choose from twelve envelopes with a riddles.  They had to figure out the one word answers to the riddles then paddle out into the water to grab the proper letters to spell out these words onto a board.

The first team to spell five correct wins.  The captain of the winning team receives immunity and a winner’s clue.  

The challenge is moderated by the show’s hosts Kevin and Frankie who tell them that there will be no voting at the Guess Off.  AND, surprise…it’s a double elimination.

Misery Loves Company!

Because the captain from the losing team will be in the bottom and has to choose another player to target another player in the Guess Off. 

Gracie Lou was the captain of the blue team and Naomi was the captain of the red team. 

The red team decided to get in the water first and grab whatever letters they could before figuring out the answer to the riddle.   
Immediately Miguel and Danny overturned their canoe in the water before Naomi could read the riddle.

Triple Fold Challenge:

This challenge was triple fold, because they not only had to have the correct word, but also the correct spelling of the word, AND they had to canoe themselves to get the correct letters.

Kevin and Franklin were on the sidelines letting the team members know if the spelling was incorrect, or it was the wrong word altogether.

The red team had the toughest time spelling “giraffe”! LOL!  The blue team got stuck on “Valkyrie” spelling and the red team made a clean sweep after spelling “chastity” correctly.

That meant that Naomi had immunity, which also meant that Gracie Lou wasn’t able to guess her.  She would have gotten Naomi right too!

Adam and Naomi Scheme!

After the contestants got back into the house, the guessing continues.  Adam asks Miguel to leave the room in order to talk to Naomi in private.  Naomi reveals that she thinks that Miguel is related to Desi Arnez.
Adam had no idea who that is.  But, this guess was spreading throughout the house. 

 
Naomi Pulls Hud’s Clue:

Naomi decided to stay with her agreement with Adam and Hud, and chose Hud’s bottle for her winner’s clue.  From the clue that included icons showing cherry bomb artist…

Naomi thought that Hud’s mom is Cherie Currie from the Runaways.  She decided not to share the clue with anyone. 

THE SETUP:

Derrick walked-in on Miguel talking to himself saying he’s a Banderas, “it’s all in the cards…”  Of course Derrick went to Adam and Gracie Lou to tell them.

Adam and Gracie Lou totally bought into it and the gossip quickly spread throughout the house.  Viewers later see that Derrick and Miguel set the whole thing up to put them off track with Miguel’s relative.

Hud decided to convince Gracie Lou to have the other Guesser pick Miguel and if they’re wrong, then she still has a clean shot.  Gracie Lou had decided that she would choose either Jill because she’s not actively participating, or Hud because he’s forming alliances.

Gracie Lou’s Hail Mary:

Gracie Lou was at her wits end.  Not having any solid leads, she decided to go to Naomi to ask for her clue, which was Hud’s clue.  In trying to accomplish this, Gracie Lou told Naomi that she had her clue and that she would show other people if she didn’t help her.

Naomi wasn’t going to backstab Hud, whom she had just given her word to.  So, Naomi led Gracie Lou astray by telling her she thinks Adam is related to Dustin Hoffman. 

THE GUESS OFF:

It’s a Double Elimination!

Gracie Lou nominated Jill to be the first Guesser.  Jill selected Miguel as her target and guessed that his celebrity relative is Antonio Banderas. 
Derrick acted like he was shocked (while trying not to also laugh)!

Jill’s relative was revealed as  John Stamos who is her Uncle, not her grandfather as she had lied about in the beginning.

Gracie Lou was too scared to guess Miguel and not 100% on Adam. She chose Adam as a target anyway.  She was incorrect. 

It was revealed that Gracie Lou’s celebrity relative is her uncle Jon Cryer.  Of course Naomi was the most shocked because her relative in fact worked with Jon Cryer.

In his reveal video, Jon Cryer said Gracie Lou actually grew up in Santa Clarita, not the South!

There was a funny bit at the very end that showed Jon Cryer picking up Gracie Lou from the house in a car with “Duckman” license plate, claiming he’s been trying for 30 years to get rid of that nickname.  He was known as “Duckie” in “Pretty in Pink” movie.

Did Gracie Lou Share?

What we still don’t know as viewers – did Gracie Lou share Naomi’s clue with anyone before she left the house?  That was a big strategy in everyone’s game last season.
