The name of the game is getting out the people that you don’t like by misguiding them intentionally!  Last week, it was Miguel that the players on “Claim to Fame ” ganged up on to get him eliminated.

Adam purposely led Miguel away from guessing Michael Jackson for Dedrick and to him guessing Little Richard instead.  We all knew that was wrong.  Miguel went home after it was revealed that Miguel’s celebrity relative is Jamie Lee Curtis.

Last week, Shane was in the bottom with Miguel.  This week, Shane earned immunity in the Lie Detector test challenge by guessing the most accurate lies and truths coming out of the mouths of his fellow players.

The whole house of contestants (seven remaining now) were starting to notice how Adam never has any helpful information for anyone.  But, instead expects everyone to just offer-up clues to him.  Naomi and Danny were the most annoyed by him.

Danny pulled Dedrick’s clue last week, which does confirm that his celebrity relative is Michael Jackson according to the first half of the clue.  He was still trying to make sense of the second half (when decoded, it’s “Neverland”).

What’s funny is that Dedrick was helping Danny figure out his own clues!  The cowardly lion, the scarecrow.  Randy Jackson could be one! Lol.

THE THREE PACK:

The alliance that was started early in the season with Naomi, Hud and Adam, was progressively getting more and more one sided.  Naomi was giving up information to Adam.  But, Adam had nothing to contribute.

When Danny was telling Adam about Dedrick’s clue, Adam was completely clueless.  He didn’t know “The Whiz,”  didn’t know anyone!  Yet, demanded that Danny show him Dedrick’s clue, which he refused.  Yeah, Adam really prepared for this show! OMG!

A PLAN TO GET ADAM:

Naomi decided that she was done with Adam and their alliance.  She suggested the players should all agree that whoever won the challenge this week would pull Adam’s clue.  Then whoever is in the bottom two, they were to give them Adam’s clue.

Except, (as viewers saw later in the episode) Shane won the Winners Clue, but didn’t pull Adam’s clue! Noooo!

BURNING QUESTIONS:

It was the return of the Lie Detector challenge from last season, along with the return of “Detective Derek” who asked all of the questions that the players wanted to know about each other.

Contestants got to ask “anything and everything.”  They had to figure out what was truthful and what’s a lie.  The player who weeded out the most accurate truths from the lies, gained immunity at the Guess Off and a Winner’s Clue.

This week they had a special guest, Doug Laux who is a former CIA Case Officer who confirmed the winner and the bottom two based off of reading the lie detector.

MacKenzie was up first.  Her goal was to continue to make everyone think she’s related to a Broadway star.  The contestants submitted questions to the interrogation room.

The questions she got were way off base!  She was asked about a ballerina, and a firefighter for her celebrity relative.  MacKenzie did lie when she answered that her celebrity relative is a female.  According to her heart rate, that was a lie.  

SPOILER! We are certain that from the Winner’s Clue pulled, MacKenzie’s famous relative is Country star Trace Adkins.

When Dedrick got into the room, he was asked if his celebrity relative was in “The Whiz”  and if he’s known for his dance moves? Does he own a giraffe?  Dedrick answered “no.”

A BIG REVEAL – In his interview, Hud said the scarecrow clue is actually his!!

It was Shane’s turn next.  According to Shane’s answers, his celebrity relative knows Michael Jackson, is still alive, and it’s not his cousin. 

When it was Hud’s turn, Naomi knew who Hud’s celebrity was.  She knew what to ask.  However, she was NOT giving into Adam who was begging her for help in order not to be in the bottom.

 Hud said his relative is NOT famous for Country music.  Then Adam went next.  He said his  celebrity relative is an actor, and is in the movie “the Internship,” and was on the show “Friends.”  

All lies!  Adam stated earlier in the show that his celebrity relative is a singer.  So it did make sense when he answered “yes” that his relative won a Grammy. But, his heart rate remained the same throughout and the players were sure that he lied about everything.

Danny was interrogated for his relative being a wrestler, or a Honky Tonk man.  Danny said “no” that his relative is not a Country singer.  They think he’s related to Jelly Roll. 

MAJOR PLOT TWIST!

When Naomi got hooked up to the lie detector, she was certain that no one knew who her relative was.  However, Gracie Lou in fact shared Naomi’s clue with Shane before she got eliminated!  He shared it with MacKenzie!

So, Naomi’s questions were very targeted!  She was asked about “the brat pack,” relative having red hair, and if she was in the “Pretty in Pink” movie?  Naomi got really red and said “no” to it all!

Even Adam observed that Naomi’s questions were “very pointed.” 

Shane won immunity by having the best score on figuring out the lies from the truths.  He got immunity, a Winner’s Clue, AND some time with the behavioral guest expert who helped him with the player he wanted to “know most about.”  Hopefully the show will show actual footage from this session in a later episode.

 THE BOTTOM TWO:

The bottom two players were Adam and Hud.  Adam blamed his being in the bottom on Naomi because she was part of his alliance and she refused to help him in this challenge.
Naomi, MacKenzie and Hud were plotting to have Adam go up as the Guesser.  Naomi planned to sway Adam to guess Dedrick as Randy Jackson so that Adam would get sent home.

Hud was upset at Naomi’s backstabbing Adam because she was faltering on the alliance that the three of them made.  Naomi was vocal about saving Hud’s clue for herself. 

Mackenzie revealed to Naomi that the red hair question was hers, and that Shane has her clue.  Naomi thought that she was safe from Hud knowing her clue. But, little did she know that hud overheard Shane tell her clue to Mackenzie.

Naomi predicted that even if Hud did have her clue, he wouldn’t tell Adam!  Oh boy! She was wrong!

THE WINNER’S CLUE:

Here’s a Mess up:  Remember earlier when they all agreed that the winner of the challenge would pick Adam’s clue?  Well, Shane chose MacKenzie’s clue instead.  We later see that this was a big mistake! 

But, on the bright side, by the look of the clues, it sure does appear that MacKenzie’s celebrity is Trace Adkins.  She also said in the first episode that her celebrity relative is a singer.

As Adam was desperately grasping at straws for clues before the Guess Off, he was in a conundrum.  The same one that players experienced last season with Karsyn’s celebrity relative.

Players weren’t sure if Karsyn’s celebrity relative was Dale Earnhardt Jr., or his father Dale Earnhardt.  Adam was tripped up on if Dedrick’s celebrity is Randy Jackson, OR Michael Jackson???

A WAR HAS STARTED:

And…The Guess Off!

There was a lot of friction between Adam and Danny while Adam was trying to break down multiple clues from the Clue Wall while also milking Danny for every last drop of information. 
Adam thought that Danny had promised to show him ALL of Dedrick’s clue that he had pulled last week.  Danny denied it, and Adam told him that he will never forget this!

Guarantee that this little situation has started an ongoing feud between Adam and Danny.  But, not only that, Adam is also at odds with Hud after the Guess Off at the end of this episode.

Because after Adam successfully identified Naomi’s celebrity relative as Molly Ringwald, thanks to Hud, he called out Hud as the one who gave him the information.

By-the-way, because Adam literally knows NO celebrities, he had to write the name “Molly Ringwald” on his wrist in order to remember!

Other members of the household will have distrust with Hud from this point on, and Hud has beef with Adam now because of this!

Hud later said he had to get Naomi out because she had his clue.  Not only did she have his clue, she swore that she knew who it was. But, did she show anyone else?  That remains to be seen in a future episode.

The aftermath of this week’s Guess-Off was not pretty.  Shane expressed much disdain for Hud for not having Naomi’s back when she had his.  And Danny reminded Adam that he’s going to have to stop relying on other players!

Things sure are going to be really bumpy from here on out to the rest of the Claim to Fame season 3!!
