When “The Voice” coaches aren’t competing with each other on stage, they’re intimidating each other off stage!  The opening of the second week of the Voice Blinds showed Reba using her special audience in a can button to ruffle Michael Bubble’s feathers.
This inspired him to call Reba, “Reba Mac-in-tired.” LOL.  Snoop came up with his own clever nickname for her, “Reba Magnet-tire.”  That one stuck with all of the coaches.  Going into this episode, coaches Niall Horan and Michael Buble still have their Blocks left.  Though, by the end of the show one of them did use their Block.
Snoop took a page out of his own playbook and brought his experience as an actual coach on his kid’s football team, to “The Voice” backstage. Throughout the episode, Snoop instructed the coaches on different game plays.

Wrote a Song About it!

The first Blind Audition of the night was from a country artist, Cori Kennedy, who felt bold enough to sing a tough Wynonna Judd song “Why Not Me.”  Michael Buble and Reba McEntire were the only coaches to turn their chairs.  After meeting the coaches, Cori, who’s from Minnesota, performed her original song that she wrote about meeting them.

After showing-off his custom Reba socks, Buble still lost out to the Reba McEntire, or Magnet-tire!
Rolling with This Coach!!
A victim of the Eaton first in Pasadena auditioned for “The Voice.”  His name is Revel Day and he brought his wife with him who described the devastation they experienced from the fire.  Revel sang “Somewhere Only We Know.” It didn’t take him long to get a chair turn from Michael Buble, then Niall and Reba.
Revel brought his wife on stage to help decide which coach to pick.  Meanwhile, Snoop kept comparing different game shows such as “The Price is Right,” then “The Newlywed Game” after Revel’s wife joined him on stage.  Revel chose Niall as his coach.  Niall said he loved Revel’s big voice singing an Indy Pop song.

Snoop Loved her R&B sound!

Natalia Albertini is from a big Italian family in New Jersey who own a party shop.  She sang a salty ballad that got the chair turns or Snoop first, followed by Reba.  Buble’s excuse was that he ran out of time before he could turn his chair!  When Natalia bowed down to Reba, Snoop felt like he should give-up. But, then Natalia chose him as her coach.

Team Penalty Box!

Marty O’Reilly plays one hundred shows a year as an independent artist.  Marty vowed to get four chairs to turn for his son.  He got them at the end of his Blind Audition while singing “Trouble.”  Michael Buble chose to use his one gag this season which was the Penalty Box to halt Niall from making his pitch.   He was penalized two minutes for “looking too good” Buble teased!   It actually worked, because Marty went with Buble for his coach!

More Than a Sound…

J. Blake from Memphis auditioned next and unfortunately didn’t get any coaches to turn their chairs.  Niall cited some pitch issues.  J. Blake told the coaches that one of his jobs is as a warm-up guy.  Snoop advised him to pick a song from the church. A song that has a “feeling” over “a sound,”  and since he has emcee experience, Snoop thinks he can blow them away.

A Different Direction!

Kayleigh Clark works on her dad’s chicken farm.  She told her personal story about her father getting over his alcohol addiction.  Kayleigh has a strong Country voice that got the attention of all the coaches with a four-chair-turn by singing “Stay” by Sugarland.
OMG! After much throwing-down over Kayleigh, she actually chose Niall…NOT Reba!  Kayleigh said she feels that Niall can help put soul into her sound.

He Had “Reba Face”

Daron LaMeek sang “All Night Long” by Lionel Richie.  He was very close to sounding like a wedding singer.  He managed to get the chair turns from Reba and Buble.  Daron shared that he was one of The Commodores before auditioning on “The Voice.”  Niall, who didn’t turn, said he wants to hear more range from him in future performances.

Buble told Daron, what’s worse than going up against Reba was Daron’s facial expression when he saw her!!  And, Buble called it because Daron went with Reba for his coach.

Returning Artist!

Rob Cole was on “The Voice” season 25 without a chair turn. He’s played over 200 shows since his last Blind Audition and says he’s starting to find who he is.  He sang “Joy of Life” with his soothing country sound while playing guitar.  Rob got the chair turns of Reba and Michael who BLOCKED Reba.
That meant, Michael Buble got Rob Cole all to himself.  Michael said “I’ve got my Country guy” and he wants to try to win with a Country artist.

They Never Saw it Coming!

Justin Jenks sang “Sex and Candy” for his Blind Audition with an extremely unique voice.  Justin’s claim to fame is that his girlfriend didn’t want to go out with him until after she heard him singing in with his band.
The coaches were very shocked to see Justin upon turning AFTER his audition was over.  Buble asked where the other person went?  Then asked him to “please come back.”  Snoop asked the same. Niall compared Justin’s voice to Tracy Chapman.

Future Champ?

Aarik Duncan actually had a Tracy Chapman vibe while singing “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eillish.  Michael Buble was the only coach to turn.  He told Aarik that the other coaches are “hard of hearing.”   Buble told Aarik that last season’s winner was also a one-chair-turn from himself.  Things are looking quite good for Aarik!

Sing it With Feeling!

Sadie Dahl got the best advice from her 70-year-old grandmother who’s a huge ‘Voice’ fan, and that is to sing her Blind Audition song with “feeling.”  Niall and Buble turned right away.  Though, Niall was BLOCKED from Buble.  Followed by chair turns from Reba and Snoop.
Snoop liked the variation of her tones and ranges.  Michael, who said he was devastated, from his Block, petitioned for Snoop and Niall.  Sadie picked Team Snoop.  Snoop told her family that he was just listening to a song by The Spinners called “Sadie.”
