HOLLYWOOD JUNKET is the first website to report set news on Game Shows before they air!

Hollywood, CA – Updated: July 14, 2013 – Media website, Hollywood Junket is the first blog to give an inside peek to what happens on the set of game shows before their air dates on television.

It all started with the breaking news scoop acquired from the set of the second season of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in May 2007. While on the set, future founder of Hollywood Junket witnessed an argument between judges Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan. It was Sharon Osbourne’s first season on the show, taking over for previous judge Brandy. Osbourne and Morgan had not been getting along for two days of filming. A verbal dispute occurred between the two that resulted in Osbourne tearing-up her tip-sheet cards, throwing them into the air above Morgan’s head, and then storming off of the set. The scoop was given to a reporter at TV GUIDE who published the article.

One year later in April 2008, Hollywood Junket was born with a web show called “Audience Wrap” which gave game show audiences the opportunity to voice their opinions about what they watched.

It’s impossible to cover modern-day game shows without recognizing reality competition shows where a prize is awarded. For this reason, Hollywood Junket includes these competition reality game shows in its coverage.

In its first few months on the web, Hollywood Junket was established in the game show community as a reliable source for game show information by such sites as Game Show News Net, About.Com Game Shows, Wikipedia, and Buzzer Blog

Soon, Hollywood Junket was being invited to the set of games shows by the following networks: GSN, CMT, NBC, CBS, and most recently FOX and the Hub Network to interview celebrities on the following shows: Deal or No Deal, Bingo America, Catch 21, Baggage, The Singing Bee, Let’s Make a Deal, America’s Got Talent, Minute to Win It, So You Think You Can Dance, Family Game Night, The X Factor..and finally, The Voice.

Hollywood Junket launched its early years by integrating real-life game show and reality show stars and contestants as on-camera hosts to conduct interviews. These hosts included: Marisa Petroro , Deal or No Deal case model #18, Jules Sanchez, American Idol season one contestant, Katie Cleary , Deal or No Deal case model #11, Charity Cabico, MTV’s Next , and Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? contestant, and Dan Nier, Deal or No Deal, and Minute to Win It contestant.

In 2009, Hollywood Junket added movie previews in its coverage. The site gained new fans, as well as the opportunity to talk to some of the biggest names in Hollywood- James Cameron, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Nicolas Cage.

Hollywood Junket was the only media outlet inside of the Grammys 2011 World Record Lady Gaga Impersonators event. The video coverage was picked-up by Perez Hilton. Hollywood Junket was the first to break the news of Jerry Springer hosting the then new GSN dating game show, “Baggage”. The site also was the first to report on suspicious activity on the set of FOX’s “Our Little Genius”.

Being the only outlet reporting from the game show sets gives the website an immediacy of information that web viewers increasingly expect daily. The most recent exclusives that can be found on the site are direct from the sets of “Sing Your Face Off“, GSN’s “The Chase“, “Food Fighters“, “Trust Me, I’m a Game Show Host“, and the new CW dating game show “Perfect Score“.
