FOX”s biggest guessing game show “The Masked Singer” season 14 is about to hit hard!  We got the details to the premiere episode that includes which Masks are competing against each other in the premiere episode, January 7th.  We also have a sneak-peek at some of the clues!

The Ten Masks Performing!

Here Are the Specifics…

We’ve got clues!  It’s the show’s biggest premiere, having ten masks performing in a single episode.  Also, one mask this season is said to be the biggest one yet !  Who’s inside?  Naturally some of the guesses included athletes.  Two celebrities that this celebrity is connected to are John Krasinski, and Kevin Bacon.

The ten Masks performing in the season 14 premiere episode are:  Scarab, Handyman,  Puggcoso, Queen Corgi, Cat Witch, Googly Eyes, Croissants, Sting Ray, Galaxy Girl and Snow Cone.

According to “The Masked Singer” host Nick Canon, Googly Eyes is said to be the biggest costume Mask that the show has ever had on its stage.  Maybe there’s a big athlete in it??  Regular celebrity sleuth Ken Jeong guessed that it was a baseball player named “Big Papi” aka, Green Monster.  He plays on the Red Sox.  Two celebrities in Googly Eyes’ clue package that he has connections with are John Krasinski, and Kevin Bacon.

These Masks Are Facing-Off!…

Two of the masks competing are Wrench Mask vs. Scarab.  Scarab costume is green and a combination of a bustier, and a Knight and Insect look combined.  Scarab has been in the industry for a while and said Prince knew her name. Someone guessed that it’s Viola Davis.  When they said this, Scarab mocked her walk back and forth on the stage.  The only clue we can remember from Handyman Mask is that he said he knows Al Pacino.

One Mask said she’s not a perfectionist, and took a step down from what made her rich and famous. She started as a youth.  An actress, who was a child star, Bella Throne comes to mind.  The Sleuths guessed Hilary or Bailey Duff

Sting Ray mask went up against Snow Cone.  Sting Ray is a “nepo baby.”  He was raised around parents who threw parties with celebrity guests, one being Paris Hilton.  Robin Thick thinks it might be Will Ferrell’s kid, Mattias Farrell.  Some of the sleuthing panel guessed that Snow Cone might be Mischa Barton.

Puggcoso competed against Queen Corgi who is an influencer and podcaster (so it seems according to her clues).  She started out in college before anyone was either podcasting or doing YouTube.  This mask decided to do it full time.  Everyone said she wouldn’t make a living doing it, but she proved them wrong.

Queen Corgi did reveal to the sleuths that it was her first time performing in front of an audience.  Before that, they were guessing she’s a professional performer.  While attending the show, the feedback from audience members leaned heavily in the direction that Queen Corgi could be Trisha Pappas.  Or, Alex Cooper who famously does the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

These Masks Are Real Singers…

Puggoso sounds like a really good professional singer.  He sang “Ordinary” song by Alex Warren.  Production put together a cute choreographed bit that included some of the audience members dancing behind the Sleuths while wearing masks during Puggoso’s performance. One guess is that he could be Darren Criss, who just finished Broadway.  Someone guesses Darren Criss each season!

One audience member, who knows Darren Criss personally, said she’s certain that it is NOT him.  Some other Masks who seem to be real professional singers in this first episode are: Sting Ray, and Snow Cone.

Cat Witch and Googly Eyes were paired to sing-off.  Rita Ora thought that Googly Eyes could be a famous actor from the 1990s, Wesley Snipes.  Everyone else stuck to guessing a baseball player.

Viewers Will Know Them!

Croissants are a duo and honestly, once viewers hear about their story, will know who they are based off of their clues.  Their clue package revealed a lot.

They are a reality show couple who went through hard times together.  They went from making a lot of money to being in a scandal, hitting rock bottom and doing jail time.  Appropriately, they sang “Jailhouse Rock” with a bakery setting (rolling in the dough).

The sleuths easily picked-up that it’s a reality show couple.   Viewers will be able to easily guess this one!  One real life behind-the scenes clue that we picked-up from someone who attended a taping, is that one of the Masks this season is also a contestant on this season of “Celebrity Weakest Link.”   You can watch that on Hulu!

“The Masked Singer” season 14 premieres with a two-hour episode on Wednesday, January 7th on FOX network.
