December 3, 2025Last Mic Drop! Time to Vote on THE VOICE Season 28 Final Knockouts Recap!
This week on “The Voice” was the last night of the Knockouts round. The episode ended on the last Mic Drop artist being chosen, who is Yoshihanaa from Team Snoop after winning her Knockout with Lauren Anderson. During her rehearsal, Mega Mentor Zac Brown predicted that Yoshihanaa could probably break glass. Needless to say he was blown away! Yoshihanaa joins three other Mic Drop contestants. Only one will get the chance to perform at the Rose Parade.
“The Voice” returning coach Snoop Dogg pushed his “Mic Drop” button for team member Yoshihanaa, he said because “she did everything but drop the mic. So it was my job to mic drop on her behalf.” Snoop added that she’s got the star quality that could actually win “The Voice.”
Each coach has four artists going into the upcoming Playoffs round starting next week, Monday, December 1st, but before that, we’ve got the new game changer Mic Drop to tend to.

It’s now up to America to cast their votes to decide who the winning contestant will be. Viewers may go to either The Voice Official App, or at this link: https://voice.vote.nbc.com/
Mic Drop voting ends at 7 am ET on November 28, 2025. The first Knockout performance of the night came from Team Reba’s Austin and Peyton.
Austin Gilbert vs. Peyton Kyle (Team Reba)
Reba stole Austin from Team Michael Buble. Peyton was the first artist whom Reba pushed her button for this season. She chose the two because they are different in styles and genres – Rock-N-Roll and Country.
Peyton sang the difficult song “I Don’t Want to Be,” and Austin chose Country song “Eight Second Ride.” Snoop commented that if he wanted a “big Pop act that can cross over,” choose Peyton. Or, choose someone directly “in your world,” Austin.
Surprisingly, although Reba visibly enjoyed Austin’s performance, she wasn’t easily won over by his Country sound and went with Peyton as the WINNER! Reba stood behind her one-chair-turn, who is Peyton.
Dustin Dale Gaspard vs. Kirbi (Team Niall)
Dustin wasn’t at the rehearsal with Kirbi due to an illness. But he showed-up for the Knockout. Kirib practiced her performance of “Hard Fought Hallelujah” by Jelly Roll Mega Mentor Joe Walsh was blown away by Kirbi’s ability to go up and down with her voice.
Dustin later rehearsed his chosen song “She Talks to Angels” by the Counting Crows, and met with his coach Niall Horan via a Facetime call. Dustin came to his Knockout equipped with both a harmonica and a guitar. Greatly appreciated and well-played, but all of this still wasn’t enough to override what Kirbi was able to do with just her voice.

The coaches were amazed at Kirbi’s vocals. Reba stated, “fantastic. It was really, really good.” Michael Buble was Team Dustin. Snoop liked Dustin’s Blue Grass/ “green grass” vibe. And he thought Kirbi chose the perfect song for herself. Niall ended-up declaring Kirbi as the WINNER. He said what Kirbi did in her performance and emotion was “undeniable.”
