Reba’s Got Double Trouble on THE VOICE Season 25 Sneak-Peek Spoilers!

This is the first time that “The Voice” U.S. version will have a duo in the coaches’ chair for the new season 25.  Coaches Reba McEntire and John Legend worked non-stop by filming consecutive seasons 24 and 25 at the same time!  We wonder how they didn’t get all those artists mixed-up from one season to the next!

New Country coaches Dan + Shay duo are sure to give other Country coach and legend Reba McEntire a run for her money.  Having an artist make it into the final two last season surely is a threat!  The winning coach, Niall Horan, however, didn’t return.  Instead, Chance the Rapper is back from season 23 to hold down his chair.  Reba is the only female coach.

“The Voice” will have the Playoff Pass added again this season!

SPOILER ALERT!!

The coaches will be taking three artists each out of five into the Playoffs.  During our set visit, the majority of the artists we saw that day were from Team Reba.   John wore a “controversial cardigan” that looked like a robe.  Reba wore an ivory colored sequin blazer with black sparkly cowboy boots.

THE ARTISTS SNEAK-PEEK!

From Team Reba, Jackie Romeo was praised for reeling things back a bit compared to past performances.  Kyle Schealer, who was Stolen by Team Chance, played the harmonica and nailed it!  This was something new for him.  He has a strong voice like one you’d hear on the radio.

Reba has a powerhouse singer who ends up being her Playoff Pass.  She sang a Pink song.  The performance was hitting on all cylinders from beginning to end.  It was a bit too much over the top for most of the coaches.  They wanted to see her reel it in some.  They also said the song choice wasn’t the best.  John and the other coaches agreed, it was not her best performance. This artist also agreed.

Dan + Shay told the artist that if it was “perfect then it wouldn’t be live.”  They also said that it would also be a disservice to Team Reba if this artist doesn’t go to the Lives.

Team Chance also has an artist who flipped a Chris Martin song which got some varied responses from the coaches.  She was also Chance the Rapper’s only Playoff Pass.  John said she changed the melody just enough where it started to sound like a different song.    Reba called her voice very saturated and like butter.

Chance has a 16-year-old artist who sang “Lose You to Love Me” by Selena Gomez.  She got a standing ovation from the coaches and praise for singing with such passion and conviction at such a young age.  Reba said her favorite part was when this artist pointed angrily during the song.

MEGA SPOILER ALERT!!

Like in every season, the coaches got some help from Key Advisors.  We heard Chance the Rapper mention that he worked with a “Megan!”  Could he mean Megan Thee Stallion?? Or, maybe Megan Trainor?  More to come!  We’ll have to wait and see!  Reba said she worked with “Anthony.” Hmmm….. Can’t wait to see who it is!

IT’S GOING TO BE A BLOODBATH!

Reba STOLE 17-year-old twins from a coach (you’ll have to watch).  ALL of the coaches said their “blood harmony” was on point.  John noted that this was the first performance where their harmonization was on point.  He was alluding to the fact that they improved under Reba’s coaching.  Their former coach took offense in a playful way.

Dan + Shay said when the twins were upbeat and high energy in the performance, it reminded them of their Blind Audition, and that was their true selves.

The gloves came off during one artist’s Blind Audition between Reba and Dan + Shay.  They were fighting each other for this artist who blew the roof off the place with 1974 song Dixieland.  He is a solid Country artist contender and most likely will make it to the Live Shows (we are predicting).

He was praised for interacting with the band during his performance, as well as bringing high energy.

THE VOICE season 25 premieres February 26th on NBC.
