Team Reba Dominated THE VOICE Season 25 Finale Winner Revealed!

The Voice season 25 finale show opened with a flashback to the original coaches from season one who are Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Adam Levine, followed by rounding it out will ALL the past coaches. This was to commemorate the show’s 25th season on the air!

The night’s standout performances included Team Legend who first performed “A New Dawn” by John Legend and Bryan Olesen, then “When A Man Loves a Woman” by John Legend and Nathan Chester.  Many special guest performances were notable as well.  The biggest surprise of the night came after Country star Lainey Wilson finished her ‘Voice performance.

Niall Horan, who’s on tour, couldn’t be on “The Voice” in-person, but sent a video intro to welcome his winning artist Gina Miles, back.  “The Voice” season 23 winner Gina Miles returned to bring back her memorable moment she had on the stage singing “Wicked Game.””

Guest performances were by Jelly Roll, The Black Keys, Lainey Wilson, who not only won Entertainer of the Year, was invited to be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry by Reba McEntire after her performance on “The Voice” stage.

Reba sang with her two artists. First with Josh, who didn’t wear his cowboy hat off of the suggestion of Reba. Then,  a singer who is known more for her acting, Kate Hudson took the stage. After that, Reba and Asher sang “On My Own” by Patti LaBelle.

Jelly Roll premiered his single “I Am Not Okay” followed by more clips from the past ‘Voice shows displaying the playful and emotional antics of its past coaches who included Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, and Jennifer Hudson.

THE FINALE RESULTS:

Before the voting results were revealed, the artists had some final words for their coaches.

Asher told his coach “thank you for making me believe in myself and I promise I will not let you down. Josh told Reba that he’ll never forget his connection with Reba and thanked her for her support.

Karen said every time she was on stage she gave her performance “to God.”

Nathan said he takes away a spirit of love and vision. Bryan called John a “next level coach.” The words he gave him of encouragement and a boost of what he’s been called to do.

THE TOP THREE:

In fifth place was Karen Waldrup from Team Dan +Shay. Nathan Chester was in fourth place (Team Legend). Then that final three were Asher and Josh from Team Reba; and Bryan Olesen from Team Legend.

THE VOICE WINNER:

After the Top 3 artists were revealed as Asher HaVon, Josh Sandler (both Team Reba), and Bryan Olesen (Team Legend), the pool was narrowed down to the Top 2.

Reba said Asher changed to happiness under her mentorship. She called Josh’s growth “incredible.” John said Bryan went from fighting his way onto “The Voice” stage to being in the Top 3 and it makes him “so proud.”

The finalist winning third place was Bryan Olesen. The Top two artists were Asher HaVon and Josh Sanders.  No matter what, Team Reba was going to win!

THE WINNER: Host Carson Daly revealed the results as Asher HaVon is the winner, and reminded viewers that before entering “The Voice” competition, Asher had not sung for two and a half years prior.

The next season of “The Voice” coaches are: returning coaches Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, and brand new coaches Snoop Dogg, and Michael Buble.
