Nicholas puts his own spin on Barry White’s “You’re the First, the Last, My Everything” the coach’s reactions –

After his revival of this classic song, which may be most recognizable by some audiences from the show Alley McBeal, coaches responded after shouts from the crowd died-down with: Adam said, “Barry White makes ‘baby-making music’. And, I want to make a baby now. I heard that song…that’s the test, if I want to make a baby after listening to the song you did a great job. So, congratulations.:

Blake Shelton- “You are probably my favorite singer on Team Cee Lo. It blows my mind because you’re not suppose to look like that and sound like that! Thank God for ‘The Voice!”

Cee Lo Green- “You really can’t do no wrong in my book. I really think that you deserve to go ALL of the way, and I want to be there every step of it. That particular song of Barry White is such a feel-good song. It encourages and involves everyone. It’s about love and love is unconditional. You have that timeless quality in your voice. Everyone can get into what you’re singing. Your voice can be ‘a bridge over troubled water.’ We need you. Everyone vote for this man.”
