THE BACHELOR: Travis Stork Goes Solo on THE DOCTORS!

EXCLUSIVE! Set Report! Spoiler Alert!
In an episode of syndicated health show, talk show “The Doctors” filmed yesterday at Paramount Studios in Hollywood, the show’s real-life doctor and “The Bachelor” contestant season 8 for the first time in the history of “The Doctors”, was the lone host for a special episode.

Traditional episodes are filmed with a full panel of regular doctors/hosts that include Dr. Jim Sears, Dr. Andrew Ordon, Dr. Lisa Masterson, and new co-hosts Dr. Wendy Walsh and fitness expert Jillian Michaels.

Dr. Travis Stork strays away from the herd.

Yesterday’s episode was devoted to what Stork claims to be his “passion”, fighting belly fat. The show was titled “Secrets to Losing Your Gut for Good!”. Audience members got a special freebie of an autographed signed copy of Dr. Stork’s book “The Lean Belly Prescription”.

Dr. Stork’s special episode used effective videos and demonstrations with real-life organs such as arteries, liver and heart to relay the damaging effects storing fat in the stomach can have.

Some helpful tips included the following staples to shop for at the grocery store: strawberries and blackberries, eggs, black beans (in the can or raw). For health beneficial snacks: nuts, popcorn (NOT the microwavable kind) and dark chocolate.

Other small lifestyle changes that people can make that can add years to their lives are simple, but require time management. They include: not skipping breakfast (in fact eating eggs with yolk is good), using the stairs instead of the elevator, taking naps, standing instead of sitting at work while on the phone, taking a 30-minute walk every day, and getting outside in the middle of the work day for at least 20 minutes. But, most important, not eating fast food for dinner and cooking at home instead. One very shocking tip that Dr. Stork gave was that just by flossing your teeth every day can add six years onto your life. He stated it is because flossing gets rid of bacteria that would otherwise spread to the rest of your body.

Dr. Stork claimed to not have a six-pack ab and was challenged by an audience member guest who had to show her stomach to show-off his. Hesitantly, he lifted his shirt to show his very fit abdomen.
