GSN has announced that Producer Michael Davies (“Who Wants to Be a Millionaire”, GSN’s “The Newlywed Game”) brings GSN television audiences a new hidden-camera show called, “Hidden Agenda” that features couples competeing for money and prizes. Only one of them knows it!
One member of the couple must persuade the other to complete a variety of “outrageous and comedic challenges” that involve household domestic duties. The unsuspecting partner is not aware that during these tasks, the “whole world is watching”.
This game show within a hidden-camera show, “Hidden Agenda” is facilitated by host, Debi Guiterrez, comedian and therapist.
“Hidden Agenda” sounds like a similar concept to the Ashton Kutcher hidden-camera game show, “Game Show in My Head” in which contestants were thrown in to an outside environment where they had to coax random strangers on the street into completing a series of stunts to help them win money.
The main difference is, it sounds like “Hidden Agenda” will occur mostly inside the couples’ homes.
More information on this show with our sneak-preview report.
“Hidden Agenda” will premiere Thursday, January 14th at 8:30pm (ET) on GSN.
FOUL! CW Network: Don’t give us shows like ‘Hidden Agenda’ if you’re gonna use ringers like Lisa & Andrew Coppola, media whores who appeared on ‘Bridezillas’, and who are not above exploiting their three kids in the process! These episodes are clearly staged, using actors or wannabees. Isn’t it convenient how the men are always in their private sanctuaries during the part of the evening when the wives get phone calls about their next challenges, and the men always do every outrageous thing presented to them. NO FAIR & NO FUN! Would love to see a follow-up article on this farce.
