Last week Rob declared war on Stephanie after she got caught in the lie of telling Nick that Rob threw his name out there for elimination. Amy said she was “really losing faith” in Stephanie after last week’s debacle.

This episode picked-up after Nick made a Bad Deal and went home that evening. Stephanie stuck to her lie when asked about it again by the group of remaining players – Aron, Jordan, and Amy while Rob was in the shower.

At that moment, Stephanie decided to up the ante by telling Aron that Rob said she would be a “replacement” for Aron. She said Rob told her that she should eliminate Nick and Aron.  So, IF this were true, why would she tell Aron??? Hmm….something isn’t adding up.   But, will Aron catch on?

Unfortunately, no. The answer is no.  Stephanie placed some doubts into Aron’s head by getting him to reconsider being at the end of the game with Rob. This made Aron question if Rob was going to back-stab him.

The next morning, Jordan had a private talk to Rob about Stephanie spreading her lies. After that, Rob gave Aron a pep talk before the Excursion and warned him about not getting any “crazy ideas” in caution of Aron potentially turning on him.

Amy tried to build an alliance with Aron. She asked him if it was between her and Rob, who would he pick to stay? Aron answered that he would pick Amy to stay, and Rob to go. Amy said at the end of this, you don’t want Rob in the game because he can’t beat Rob. Aron agreed.

THE EXCURSION:

The Banker loves “power” way more!

Host Joe Manganiello addressed the contestants by using a quote from Spider Man, “with great power comes great responsibility.” The Banker tested how each player used their given power in this Excursion. At the start of the game, there was a money counter that started with $10 million.

Each player had to race a jet ski across the bay to a clearing where multiple monetary cases stood with different amounts of gold marbles. As each contestant has to decide how to use their power, the counter ticks away money loss for each minute.

A change-up in this Excursion was that the highest value case did not guarantee safety and anyone could be eliminated.

This rattled Rob’s game for sure. Since Stephanie was the last player to beat the Banker, he gave her the power to choose the order that the contestants played in.

Stephanie chose Rob to go first, and Jordan to go last. Rob’s objective was to get the bottom two with Aron. Aron agreed.

During the Excursion, players had to choose from multiple cases in varying values which also had marbles to cast votes for a player to face the Banker. The highest dollar amount case of $6 million had the least number of marbles. The lower amounts had more marbles.

Rob took up the most amount of time (getting the most money taken away) as he was caught up on what power meant to him – going against the Banker. He chose the lowest case amount to give the most marbles to Aron.

Amy took the highest value case of $6 million which came with a personal offer of $75,000. She put the one marble in Stephanie’s container.

After Aron took off on the jet ski, Amy lied to Rob and said if anything happened to Aron, she wanted to be his “number one.” They agreed on it, and Rob promised not to go after her. But, if she’s lying, he won’t be happy.

Aron Backstabbed Rob!!

Aron went to make his vote and retrieve a case. Aron decided instead of grabbing the second lowest value case of $3.5 million, like Rob instructed him to, he grabbed the $4 million case instead. He said did this to show that he isn’t “being manipulated by Rob.”

During his interview, Aron said he gave Rob “less votes” and “I’m not going to give him the power. It’s my game to play. I need to win. I can do what I have to do.”

Rob tore into Aron when he got back with $4 million. Amy was literally stuck in the middle of the two of them! Aron said he was trying to “build the pot.” Rob wasn’t buying it!!

Stephanie went for the $3.5 million case, the lowest amount case available with the most marbles. She voted for Amy. Her goal was to get one of the Night Owls in the bottom to play against the Banker and said she expected for Jordan to also vote for a Night Owl.

However, when Jordan chose her case, she grabbed the highest one of $5.5 million with two voting marbles. Her vote was revealed later.

After Jordan locked-in her case, the counter stopped with $1 million remaining. This was the bonus case to be thrown into the “Deal or No Deal” game.

Jordan put her marble into Rob’s container. After it was revealed that Aron and Rob were tied for 7 marbles each.  Because Amy had the highest case value, she was called to break the tie. The problem was that Amy had just made alliances with both Rob and Aron separately.

The Tie-Breaker!

Amy had to choose the player to go against the Banker on the spot. She chose Aron. After Amy’s vote, Rob then knew that Amy was lying to him and she was now also on his chopping block.

Aron said he was glad to go against the Banker because he suspected that Rob would eliminate him. He told Rob this and Rob was in shock.

Aron said in his interview, “sometimes you have to eliminate a friend to win.” Amy and Stephanie were talking about how they had expectations that Aron would take out Rob. When Rob asked Aron to take out Stephanie, he answered “maybe.” Rob knew there was “something fishy” going on.

DEAL OR NO DEAL GAME:

Before playing his game, Aron said in his interview that he suspected if it came down to him and Rob at the end, he was afraid that Rob would beat him.

Joe Manganiello announced that it would be their last chance to add money to the final bank. As Aron played a roller coaster of a game, Rob said he was scared because for the first time, his game rested in Aron’s hands.

Aron was left with $1 million, $3.5 million, and $750 at the end of his game. The Banker’s last offer was for $1,199,000. Aron should have said “no deal,” because after he accepted the Banker’s offer his case revealed the amount of $3,500,000.

It was a bad deal, and Aron said his goodbyes. Everyone had some final touching words to Aron, except for Stephanie.

Next week the players will have the ultimate test from the Banker that will decide who will play in the final game of “Deal or No Deal” for the final case holding a value of $10,107,000!
