THE VOICE: Blind Auditions Round Two, Performances and Interviews!

Season three’s second night of “Blind Auditions” lands two more for #TeamXtina and two more for #TeamBlake but only one for #TeamCeeLo. Check out these photos and videos of night two’s successful auditions ENJOY!

 

ADRIANA LOUISE

BLIND AUDITION: Adriana Louise Performing “Domino”

Adriana sings “Dancing In the Moonlight”.  Cee Lo turns first then Blake. Later, Christina and Blake both turn. She finishes her song to a standing ovation from the mentors.  Christina tries to stake her claim by saying, “We belong together. It’s just a match made in heaven. I want you on my team. You can sing.”   Cee Loo asked, “What’s your name you beautiful thing? You move and you sing like a consummated professional. We look like we just got married.”  Adam said “You have that voice that a lot of people try to have on record and you have it live which is really rare. I am begging you.” Blake said, “That middle part of your vocals is so special that it makes me smile.” Christina finished with, “I want to get inside your mind and I want to know who you are. I want to be by your side taking you to the end.” Adriana picked Christina and said it was her record that was the first record she bought when she was nine-years-old.

INTERVIEW: After the Blind Audition Adriana talks to Christina Milian about her strategy going into the blind auditions and why she was still shaking after!

BLIND AUDITION: Mackenzie Bourg Performing “Pumped Up Kicks”

Cee Lo is the first to push his button for Mackenzie.  “I waited for it to go somewhere, but it just didn’t for me..but it did for Cee Lo and you’re on his team!” stated Christina.  “There’s a quirkiness in your voice, I think Cee Lo’s going to be good!” stated Adam.

INTERVIEW: After the Blind Audition: MacKenzie Bourg talks to Christina Milian about his comparisons (What was up with that Harry Potter/Justin Bieber thing?) and whether or not he got the coach he originally wanted.

BLIND AUDITION: Aquile Performing “Your Song”

Aquille sings classic song “Your Song”  by Elton John.  Christina and Adam turned their chairs at the same time.  “I’m shocked that you dumb, dumbs didn’t turn around” Adam says to judges Cee Lo and Blake.  Blake, said,  “I did”.   Christina said, “I really GOT you as a vocalist and I really want to take you to that place…I really want a private concert!” Ha, ha “I’m just playing”.

JULIO CESAR CASTILLO

BLIND AUDITION: Julio Cesar Castillo Performing “La Bamba”

Julio Cesar brought back “La Bamba” song originally sung by Ritchie Valens.   During the performance, Christina is seen chair dancing. Blake turned his chair around quickly.  Followed by Cee Lo seconds before the end.  “That was awesome!” screamed Adam after his performance.  Blake swooned Juilo by saying “if this was a high school gymnasium  there would be a banner hanging down saying season 3 winner by Blake Shelton.”      Cee Lo’s reaction was “I saw so many people stand-up in pride. It was a great moment for the show. .. different is what I do.  Blake does the same thing over and over.”   Julio chooses Blake.  Before that, he did a performance in mariachi.

INTERVIEW: After the Blind Audition Julio Cesar Castillo talks to Christina Milian about what it was like to perform for four of the biggest names in music, and how he felt when they asked for a SECOND song.

 

CASEY MUESSIGMAN

BLIND AUDITION: Casey Muessigman Performing “Sweet Home Alabama”

Casey sings Lynyrd Skynrd classic “Sweet Home Alabama”.  Blake is the first to turn his chair.  Followed by Cee Lo.  “Just go, just go over there now and save some trouble” said Adam who didn’t turn his chair.  Adam said tell me you would have chosen me if I had turned around.  Casey said “no.”  Cee Lo said “Country is written in these run-on sentences. I kind of talk like that” and complimented Casey’s giving the rock-n-roll song a country swaggar “But it had soul too.  So, it’s not just one thing. And I’m not just one thing.”  Blake said, “I think your voice is really strong and you do have that Southern rock element.”  Ultimately, Blake said “the ass spanking” is what got him.  Casey’s choice is Blake.  He said he entered the competition wanting to make great country music with Blake.
