The first season of “The Golden Bachelor,” will soon come to an end with the finale show airing on November 30th. It’s been an emotional roller coaster ride for first-ever Golden Bachelor, 72-year-old Gerry Turner who has cried through just about every goodbye he’s had to endure with each eliminated contestant. On a positive note, we’ve got some news ahead of THE WOMEN TELL ALL episode.
It’s definitely not lost on Gerry being the first ever Golden Bachelor. He says that he and the rest of the cast are proud to be part of this historic event, and in fact, he wouldn’t mind it if his epitaph included the words, ‘the first Golden Bachelor!’

The Cutting Room Floor:
One of the ladies, who aren’t part of the final three, called-out Theresa, stating that there was “a lot of footage” not shown on the episodes that shows what Theresa was doing that led up to the moment of the confrontation between her and Kathy. All Kathy wanted her to do was to “just zip it!” It sounds like there was some drama that wasn’t aired. Jesse pushed the pause button on the topic because Theresa was not there to defend herself. And like that footage she is referring to, this part of the show will most likely not be in the final edit.
Hopefully, when we get to “After the Final Rose,” we will get to the bottom of what exactly went down in the mansion between Kathy and Theresa. Maybe Theresa will be there to give her side of things.
One of the ladies who went home early this season said she’s been burning a candle for Gerry ever since she left. She remained hopeful and her thought was that he would show-up on her doorstep.

Viewers last saw Gerry struggling in the Rose Ceremony right after the hometown dates last week. Three women stood before him – Theresa, Leslie, and Faith. After giving the first rose to Leslie, (Not surprised, he told her that he’s in love with her), Gerry was seen breaking-down before giving that last Rose to either Theresa or Faith.
Basically, unpreventable, and like always, one woman will in fact be blind-sided by Gerry who, after he regains composure at the Rose Ceremony, will send her home.
Gerry explained that he could not look at her when she got into the van to go home because he felt like he was a con after telling her certain things during the hometown date. He said, but that was indeed how he felt in that moment when he said he loved her. He said they are put into this artificial simulation (The Bachelor). She couldn’t believe she fell for him so quickly in such a short amount of time..
There will be some tears shed after one woman takes the hot seat to tell her story. This includes some tears shed by Jesse Palmer.
Plus, Bonus Content! Some ‘Bachelor franchise’ cast members will be returning in the “Women Tell All” episode. But, there will also be a surprise guest from the Kardashian family directed at one woman in particular!
FANTASY SUITES:
This season of “The Golden Bachelor” has shown scenes in parts of the Bachelor mansion that viewers aren’t used to seeing such as the bathroom, and the bedrooms. So, we wonder, will there be more shown to the Fantasy Suite dates? Jesse hints that we will finally find out what goes on in the Fantasy Suites this season! Gerry said he likes “pillow talk.”
Every woman who was part of this season, overall said the same thing, that they all felt instantly connected just based on having all shared similar life experiences alone. One woman said all they had to do was sit together and say nothing, She could feel the connection.
“The Golden Bachelor” airs Thursdays at 8 pm ET on ABC.
