THE NEWLYWED GAME: Reporter On-Set to Side with Carnie!

Numerous reports have come out that “The Newlywed Game” show host Carnie Wilson had “collapsed” during one day of filming the show. A HOLLYWOOD JUNKET reporter was on-set that day, and says it wasn’t so.

Our reporter stated that Wilson started to feel light-headed during filming on the March 18th show taping and she had to sit-down. Production was halted and she went backstage. Shortly after, Wilson re-emerged and finished the remaining show tapings for that day.

During the next day of filming which was Monday, March 22nd, Wilson made an announcement to the studio audience regarding her dizzy-spell the previous week by stating that she was okay and that her faintness was due to her not getting enough rest, being on the go too much without taking time-out to care for herself. A medic was on-hand that day just a few steps off-stage near Wilson.

Wilson has just wrapped the third season of GSN’s revised version of “The Newlywed Game” on March 31st, as well as caring for her 8 month old baby, and four-year-old, in addition to having her own line of bakery treats and a reality show also on GSN titled, “Carnie Wilson: Unstapled”.

The third season of “The Newlywed Game” begins airing on GSN April 19th.
